Asking questions and recieveing non-sensical answers from some (not all Republicans and Bush backers, some I've come to learn simply voted for him so that he has a chance to fix what HE started in Iraq, i.e. a way for them to resolve why this placed thier loyalty to him in the first face). Anyways, if you've ever gotten a one sentence answer to your question and it came from a Bush supporter this is probably why:
"There are some people, and I'm one of them, that believe George Bush was placed where he is by the Lord," Tomanio said. "I don't care how he governs, I will support him. I'm a Republican through and through."

Now the question do you believe the majority of his supporters support him because of this position? It would explain alot.

"I don't care how he governs"... that's scary.

Just plain wrong. That's what scares a lot of people. "Placed by the Lord"?? Whoa, Nelly!

It's rather funny I think.... How about you run for President of the United States, and then have 9-11 happen, were thousands died or how about you enroll in the Military or Army then you can cry about it. I have many friends over there and they would beg to differ from your response, so why you sit at your computer and judge a president for his actions, maybe you should support our troops who try to make things right and help people in need, that are not allowed to have rights, or sit on a computer all day and judge our President. Everyone is so quick to judge him, yet NO one really voted! Do I think the President is perfect NO! But he is a human.... let me guess you voted for Clinton!

I would hope people support him because he is President, but unfortunately I don't think that is the case. People have a hard time disassociating religion and matters of the state. Although the US was founded on Christian principles it doesn't mean that the President has act according to them.
...I don't care how he governs... ignorance.

I voted for him because I believe he was the best candidate. John Kerry's ideals we completely opposite of mine and goes against almost every thing I believe and was taught to be right.
You have a better answer as to why you didn't support Bush?

There are die hards in both major parties that will only vote the stright ticket every time. It's the independants and folks that vote their concience that do the real electing.

Why be concerned by what one individual thinks? True, many support him just because he is a Republican, but most Democrats supported Clinton, our only sex offfender president.

Because the Democratic party has no solid plan to protect our country from Terrorist attacks. While they may be better at managing money, they come in 2nd place out of the two parties when it comes to national security.
