Some people believe that the social responsibility for the poor hungry people (have-nots) in this world lies on the shoulders of the wealthy (haves)? They feel that people's needs should be met before the wealthy can have their luxuries. YET they have their computers and internet, both luxuries. If they were to sell their computers and cancel internet (TV, electricity, car notes) that money could go to feed MANY people in the world.

The reason is because they want want want, but the giving stops shy of them. There are some people who practice what they preach, usually religious folk who give all their possesions up and live simply, and in relative poverty by choice. Although I don't agree with them, I applaud them.

It was on Yahoo Chat that the young heroes turned in the child rapist Mark Foley. They should get a prize or something from Yahoo. Looking out for the community is very important.
If it was not for those brave Yahoo Members the Republicans would of moved him to another State to be Congressman like the Catholic Church used to do.

our choice not to buy certain items because of forced child labour or human rights issues could be applied to countries/industries which are bad polluters of the environment. (and I am still not buying Nestle products because of the baby milk powder in Africa controversy)

I have the impression that only English politicians care about them. What do common people (at home, in the schools, in the streets) think?
And please, don't be rude, I'm just asking your opinion in order to know. Thank you.
