What would you look into?

First, I wouldn't take the job for one day, because it is a job which requires relationships that would take years to build.

But if I did, I would try to reduce the staff that appears to be non-productive and improve the effectiveness of the actual intelligence-gathering staff. Again, I don't think a day would be enough to even get a good start.
