Immigrants are not usually classified by their religion, but by their country of origin.

The recent events in Afghanistan and Iraq have been portrayed as Muslims being brutal with their prisoners, i.e., decapitating innocent foreigners and killing of large numbers of Iraqis who oppose them.
The result of these actions and reports, and the reaction of Muslims to simple criticism ( the cartoons and the Pope ) have stigmatized Muslims as brutal killers and unstable people; they have been placed in a special category.
It is that special category that now becomes their identity. It's unfortunate that all Muslims have been lumped into the same character as the few fanatic Muslims. But that has been the way people have been classified throughout history: When a Frenchman kills a cow, all Frenchmen become cow killers. When a German robs a bank, all Germans are bank robbers, etc, etc.
People like to think that all persons of a religion, country of origin, race or social standing are the same and alike in their behavior.
It's easier to group them than to think of just the one or two aberrants in that group.

I don't understand the question. What are you trying to say?
What about Catholic immigrants? Can you rephrase what you are saying, or explain your question a little more?
BTW- Muslims are NOT Christians. Some of the principals of the faith are based in Christianity and Judaism. But, Muslims are NOT Christians.

Your question is mindless... Why do you associate all Hispanics with the Catholic faith? i'm Hispanic and that i'm not a Catholic. that's a actuality...the biggest Catholic inhabitants is in Italy and there is not something incorrect with it! in spite of the indisputable fact that there are fairly some Hispanic Catholics, many greater Hispanics are of the Pentecostal faith. you may not stereotype others with the help of religion or the different employer...i would not associate you with the KKK, only considering you're White.

Muslims are Christians, just like Catholics. Ask an educated Muslim, and he will tell you that yes, they recognize Christ as a prophet. Muhammed made reference to the teachings of Christ in his speeches.
Jews do not recognize Jesus as the son of God, but acknowledge his place in history, like Catholics.
Only, history never provided proof of Jesus' existence, not even as a commoner
