I worked for the most successful Real Estate Office , I leave because I do not feel I am being compensated what Im worth, broker says that I must inactivate my license due to the non compete clause, it states that I cannot work in my line of work within 120 miles of the office for an additional 3 years!!!!. That is unreasonable! Any advice? This broker sees no wrong in taking peoples lively hoods away, if people arent happy, let them go,,dont tie their hands!

The police have contacted me because someone who has my license plate number has accused me of throwing something at their car. The officer contends that the person in that other car need only identify my picture from a lineup he assembled to be able to charge me with criminal damage. This seems bogus to me. First, how would he have my picture? ( I have only talked with him by phone and I have never been in trouble before) Second, how does he, or a prosecutor for that matter, exclude the possibility that this person isn't just mad about something else I did...out there on the road, it doesn't take much...and now they're making up accusations to cause me grief/ and or to cause me to have to pay for pre-existing damage to thier vehicle? The only thing I know to do is to avoid answering thier questions, period. This is under Ohio law. In whatever case it seems improbable to me that anybody could just pick a car , write down its plate #, and make such claims. Anybody have any ideas?

I always hear her say that her record speaks for itself, but then she never gives her record. What I would like someone to do is give us a list of her accomplishments. I could not find any legislation that she sponsored into law in the senate. She is hiding all of her papers form the white house in the archives, and refuses to answer direct questions about anything that she may stand for.

So, anyone please list her accompishments here for all to see.

He never completed the real quote....I've read that it goes

fool me once, shame on you
fool me twice, shame on me

I believe that's what he meant in the true context

but he changed it to "fool me - you can't get fooled again"
which is a totally different meaning..

In an interview, an independent American firearms designer claims to have a better product than the M-16, known for disfunction in the field.
Didn't catch the name of the weapon or the inventor. He claims to have submitted it to the Army. It was rejected, the program said, because of the in-house resistance to change. The program then went on to other items rejected due to the same reasons & other products that are outdated but are resistant to changing.
Does anyone have any information on this firearm? Thank you.

Yep, I just heard it on the news. Seems the Liberal Party have acknowledged that AWA's and Workplace Reform were the big vote losers of the Election and apparently members are being encouraged to go with Labor on this one and distance themselves from this Election loser.

My, my, how the tables turn when you get a thrashing!

While on probation if I had it excused by a doctor? I've been sick ever since Saturday. My mom said she would make an appointment with a doctor tomorrow on Monday if I am not doing any better. The thing is that I am on probation for truancy. So I was wondering would I get in trouble if I missed but still had a excuse from a doctor?

I had too much to drink one night and asked a family member to drive me to meet my husband. That person brought along two frozen beers as well, one for himself and one for my husband. Along the way, one of the cans burst open. I was trying to clean up the mess when we were pulled over. The driver was arrested on previous warrants, but not charged for the open beer. I told the officers that I had been drinking, and they took me to the station to arrange transportation. I was not booked or charged with anything, simply waited in the lobby until the busses started running. I was there for about four hours. A week or so later, I was mailed a ticket for open containers, and the officer wrote that I'd "left the scene". It wasn't my car or my beer (I don't even drink beer--never have). How can I be charged, given these circumstances? Futhermore, how can I fight it?

I realize that three people can be listed on the paperwork but it says if the patient advocate appointed cannot make the decision they will go to the next and on down. We are three children who would like to be able to make that decision together for my mother, not just one.

I figure two things; first, it is obvious that products with 30 to 40 % markups are not benefiting the consumer, in this case sick people, and that this is a form of exploitation I'm not okay with. A large part of the reason they can charge this rate is the temporary monopoly granted by patents which provide the consumer nowhere else to go. This artificially drives up the cost of healthcare, as with any monopoly.

Second, you can't do away with it. It is quintessentially American to believe in entrepreneurship and the rewards from great discoveries seem to us well-deserved. Even more important though is the fact that the prospect of those lucrative patents is what drives research and development (which is a form of venture capitalism), and it does it exceedingly well. There must be a reward there to provide financial motivation for research expenditures.

I'm just proposing we shrink the size of that reward, which is now excessive to the detriment of the consumer. Any thoughts?
