He never completed the real quote....I've read that it goes

fool me once, shame on you
fool me twice, shame on me

I believe that's what he meant in the true context

but he changed it to "fool me - you can't get fooled again"
which is a totally different meaning..

hey koalatco or whatever...Nice way to answer a question about Bush. It's just too embarrassing to have to admit he's the worst president in history ...and the difinitive liar. He's estimated to have about an 80 I.Q. maybe you two have kinship in that regard.

I've heard that quote again and again. It was just like Bush to start a saying and then realize in the middle that he couldn't remember the end.

But it's been suggested, and it could be true, that Bush is just pathologically unable to say 'shame on me'. 8^) If he were able to say it, he'd be saying it all the time now.

Yeah lol - I saw that video ... man that must've been embarrassing... that guy does have some problems giving speeches - cuz he also made a really big error in a speech - I forgot what it was but it was a seriously big mistake... you can find all that on youtube I think.

Yeah... at least Bush makes us laugh huh?
