Hi, I have some new neigbours who have moved in next to us , and one of the men has developed a habit of making telephone calls on his mobile outside in the early hours of the morning. This has happened on two occassions so far, namely 1230am, and 330am respectively. Noise is quite an issue on our street here in Scotland, UK as the houses are quite close to each other. How do I deal with this situation as I want to remain anonymous. Don't know what type of people these are living next to me?

This is my opinion on the law. Please tell me if you agree or disagree, and why/why not.
Pet's owners' should NOT repeat NOT have to have their pet(s) fixed! If you own a pet YOU have the right to make decisions about what happens to it, the Gov't shouldn't tell you! And I can guarantee that if this becomes a law, most people won't want to have to spend about $200.00 per pet to have them fixed, and most likely how they find out if you own pets' is by going to the vet for Vaccinations. Which means that more pet's will have Rabies, and give it to more people. And not to mention the fact that if you take your pet to be fixed, there is a chance that when they knock out your pet that when the surgery is finished they will not wake up, all because of some people who think that they are helping by keeping unwanted animals' off the streets. Bottom line, is that it does more harm then good!!

When a corperation goes to Mexico or elsewhere and hires people thier because they are cheaper and they screw - Americans/Canadians - out of a job just to increase their own wages and profits -

Are they guilty of betraying their nation ?

When they hire ilegal OR legal immigrants to drive down wages - is that not a betrayel of the people ?

Or even at home? Apparently, there are three countries in Africa that like us better than we like ourselves (I'm guessing they have limited internet access). See the story: America still cherished around Africa http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070628/ap_on_re_af/us_image_africa
We have many problems though stemming from many issues. What do we need to do to reclaim our moral authority and and improve our global image?

i live in a different country and i always see soldiers making fools out of them selfs and the rest of us americans when they are out and about, i know they get briefed about this by their commanders and yet nothing changes, why is that? should the commander be held responsible? i mean after all ,the commanders try to pass the buck onto the nco in charge of the troops, why is it not their responsibility to teach these young soldiers how to act?

First I am sure that I can speak on behalf of everyone in the UK in saying "We are deeply saddened by yesterday's news of the losses, that our thoughts and prayers are with their families, as well as of all the fallen soldiers, who died bravely serving their country".

Yesterday's deaths bring the total number of British military fatalities since the hostilities in Iraq began to 156. So with a new Government how do members of the public see the way foward.

Your chance to give various options and stages of what you think the way forward is. By 9am tomorrow morning we will give 10 points to the most realistic answer. Please do not swear or give racist comments, also remember it is easy to criticise the past, however much harder to give real constructive input for the way forward, which surely is where we now need to go?

I'm wondering if suing for a auto purchase would be considered "written contract"? That statute of limitations is 10 years for "written contracts" in Illinois. Or would it be considered "personal injury" or "property damage"?

Thank you

The first instance was in December 2001, to rebuff Congress' demands for Clinton administration documents." Cut and pasted it for those who don't click links and for those who do last paragraph of the article.

If a combatant is near-sighted doesn't that reduce his or her combat ability when wearing glasses especially during rain or snow storms.

I wear glasses myself and during the rain it blurrs my vision and makes all lots glary.

...the word "wet back" is very offensive?

i have heard it thrown out there as if it were a normal word. i just want to establish that that is an offensive word for those of you who do not know already

that word, i would say, is in equivalence with the "n" word for hispanic people

i know you might be using it to target just illegal immigrants, but the word has been used to define all hispanics as well therefore it has become a taboo period, no matter who it addresses

to make it simpler, its like if i decided that the "n" word would now mean "ignorant person" in my book. i can guarantee you that MANY people would be offended regardless of what it meant to me

and if you are trying to get someone else for insulting you, please gain some decency and realize what you are doing. all you are proving is that people can be very evil inside.

am i correct?
