A full inquiry, led by an independent prosecutor, with full power to subpoena everyone and everything in the executive branch, and no immunity, "executive privilege", "national security", or any other forms of secrecy. Possibly leading to criminal charges if it is shown that a crime has occurred.

Is that too much to ask of a democracy?

Is it the conservative consensus that US Intelligence is too incompetent to prevent another 9/11?
Seriously, if they wanted to attack America (if they could), they are so uncontained that they would have been able to by now.

Yes, the Shi'ites and Sunnis would kill each other but so what? They have been doing that for centuries and will do so whether or not we choose to get caught in the middle. They are doing it now even with our troops there as cops.

They will never set up an enduring democratic state since they have never had one amd don't understand the concept. The very concept of Iraq as a single state was forced on them by the British Mandate in 1921 and has no historical basis to continue to exist.

We have problems to deal with at home. Wouldn't it be better for America to put American needs first and forget about pretending that we can build a democracy in Iraq - which nobody ever appointed us to do?

How about putting America first. Pack up and leave Iraq, Bring all our armed forces home from overseas to American soil. Defend our own country and take care of domestic needs.

Build and strengthen our republic, and give up trying to be an empire. Screw Iraq. America first!

I am a tourist who, unexpectedly had a baby during my stay in New Jersey in July 2006. My partner (an American citizen) brought me to a friend in New Jersey and when I had premature labor, she was the one who brought me to the hospital. In the ER, the nurse asked for my contact details, my companion gave her address and contact numbers as well. To date, my partner has not settled our hospital bills. Recently, my companion told me she has received the billing addressed to me sent to her residence. I am so embarassed about her being involved in my partner's irresponsibility. Is she liable to pay for my bills because she gave the hospital her contact details? How can I get her out of this hassle?

I am just asking for people's opinions on whether or not an invasion is possible. I am asking people if they think North America's security is strong enough. If North America's security is not strong enough how would you strengthen it?

My friends Mom is going to call CPS soon.
Because my "dad" is a meth head and there was alot of mental and physical abuse going on. I'm pretty sure he will go to jail ecspecially if they find his stash and so will my Mom because she witnessed all of this and did nothing so she is just as guilty.
I am 15 going to be 16 in a few months.
I'm getting a job right now.
So is my twin sister. we would live together.
We also go to Independent Study so we can graduate early.
Do you think we could get emancipated?

Thank you to the guy who said for me to look him up on gov.com, i checked you as BEST answer thanks so much :) I got some info. He did get 2 years but it was 2y-lifetime and he has been in for 8 years had parole in 2000 and another one coming in march of this year.. and he did tell me about this too,so he did not lie to me,and i didnt think so because he never has before..He only left out the lifetime part maybe he didnt even know.... I have known this person for over 21 years and he never was in prison and never has lied to me...So i am asking everyone that may know especially the officers :) if someone gets 2years-lifetime in El-paso Colorado (lifetime Supervision of sex offender) and has done 8 years now for that crime, how much more time do you think he will have for good behavior in side prison? because the Judge has nothin to do with him now it`s up to the DOC?

Why does it seem most people have forgotten about what Bush and his cohorts did on April 2, 2002? Clinton's framework, if it had been followed by the unintelligent Bush administration, would have prevented conflicts with North Korea which have arisen during Bush's presidency.
