Hillary, I miss the Clintons

2007-02-23 16:45:31 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 4 4

I support both.

Bush may only have a 35% approval rating, but that won't translate to a vote split 65 to 35 for the Democrats. Whoever runs will see a return close to 50% in their favor, as it has been in the past two elections.

If either Obama or Hillary runs, all the Republicans need is about 2.5% of the Democrats to hold prejudicial views against either African-Americans or women holding the office of President.

2.5% would swing the vote to a 55-45 win in favor of whoever the Republican candidate is.

I hope either wins.

Were I prone to vote for a Democrat, I'd vote for Obama though, hands down. Hillary is slimy, and Obama is intelligent and charismatic. But don't spread it around, we need that 2.5%!

Both - but for those whom are afraid of the left just remember that the left stands for people and the right for business. The line on the left has a great number of fiscal right people and the line on the right contains social left people.

Both of these candidates are left but Obama is more to the right. They both have strengths. Hillary is known to be a brilliant litigator, negotiator and organiser. This can help in times of crisis. Less is known of Obama but for all the hype and fear about him, he seems a stand up guy with intelligence.

I don't think how loud a person is or where their parents are from makes them any better or worse. We have to get past the stereotypes and to the heart of the abilities of the persons we elect. The time for hype is over. It gets us into far too many wars and scandels.

Lets elect based on skill, intelligence and knowledge. It is time we looked beyond the words to the values held and the policies likely to affect us. Surely people are more important than business.

We already know that business is in business for profit and that there is no profit in education, caring for the poor or the sick or burying our youth. Those who profit from these things are the very people who would attack those on the left. Wake up people. Its only a matter of time til YOUR rights are fodder for the fear machine.

I would definitely go with Obama. Ms Clinton is a political powderkeg; she's too divisive, and is just plain irritating. Obama is inexperienced, but he's also an intelligent, articulate man who has made his own way politically, without having to ride the coattails of an important spouse. Oh, and he didn't just move to his state so he could run for president from a power-stance right away. He actually lived in Illinois before running for his first political office.

Neither.

Obama is inexperienced and only votes along party lines, he is not a leader just another party hack.

Hillary is an evil, viscious woman only out for her ego. Both Clinton and Obama are socialists who have zero understanding of the US economy.

The best Democrat candidate is Bill Richardson.

It works like this, non have shown me a platform, they are just pointing out the obvious errors of the other. The more they do it the more exiting but when i go to vote I think of platforms. You know what do they offer. On the other hand Republicans present one
(PNAC)which is good to have one but not the one that I like so it only leaves me to vote for who ever is third which didn't sell on the campaign and had a fairly comprehensive platform and just the fact of a rising third party would give the other 2 a war on terror.

Neither of the two. Dem or Con I hate it when people who run not only slam each other within their own party, but when they keep using the current President and Iraq as their platform, they have some real issues. This type of behavior has always been known as dirty politics and I'm quite sick of it.

I want to know what they HELL these people are offering as far as solutions. Everyone can sit in her and post slams because we're not in public office. However, when canidates do it, it makes them look far less professional that I had notion to believe.

The Democrats are excellent at ATTEMPTING to create resolutions for this war, they are excellent at passing the buck, they are excellent at denial, lousy at apologies...and are way too busy campaigning over a year ahead of schedule to sit their fanny's down, in their seats, AT WORK, which WE are paying them for...to get this resolution completed.

No, no way will I listen to people running for office who badger the current administration and use the office of the presidency as their playing field. If they were so damn good at what they do, they'd be in Washington doing their jobs. 'nuff said.

I think that the first woman President would have to be a manish-woman and a ball-buster. That is the only way she could make it that far. In her wake, other women, real women, would have the opportunity. I am voting for Hillary, not because she is a woman, but because her Presidency could open the door so that someday a real woman could be President.

I don't and won't support either one of them ever again. Nor any candidates from either party because their all bought and paid for by corporate international globalist. Sound crazy? The people have no voice, and never will under these two political corrupt parties. it's becoming a very sad day for all us Americans.

I don't think you will even be asking that question by the end of this year. By then we will have found all the dirt on both of them. That's the good thing about starting the "run for the office this early.
