It would seem that they substitute the responsibility for independant thought with 10 cent phrases like:

"Cut and run", "emboldening the enemy", "War on Terror", "Stay the course", "fight them there or fight them here", ""American values and vision", "Support the troops", ""shock and awe", ""they hate what we stand for", "islamofascists".

Can Republicans have a thought that isn't preformatted for them by Fox or some hack Republican speech writer? Are Republicans able to think for themselves, or is it just a matter of 'garbage in, garbage out'?

I've seen a few exceptions, but extremely few. This practise of Republicans parroting catch phrases seems to be epidemic, and it really does make them seem like mindless drones.

Alright, I was driving to the bank the other day and a cop stared talegating me when i was only going 3 over, i didnt care i had cruse control on and maintained. A second later he passes me in the right lane going about 10 over the speed limit, he decided to cut back into my lane and crossed the thick white line (that you arnt supposed to cross) into the newly formed left turn lane. he ended up about 4th in line ( right where he would have been if he didnt do all of that). Anyway, I then decided to glare at him for the breif moment that i went by, as i would do to anyone who drove like that. I ended up being stoped frist at the light going straight, he decided that he would flip on his lights then and pull me over and asked for licence and all the ussual stuff, then he lectured me on why i shouldn't do that. Example : "he could be going to a burglary and be in a hurry". Alright , now to the point. Can he do this? does he have to have a valid reason to pull me over? Should i report him?

I read somewhere that you must submit a document once a month prooving what the balence is in your bank account (which is understandable), but are they allowed to see if you made a few trips the the grocery store, or to Walmart, or if you you stopped to McDonalds a few times, or rented a few movies from Blockbuster, or if you paid anything on the rent or utilities and if you did... how much? To me, if it is true, it sounds a little sneaky, deceiving, and a violation of privacy. I know that when you file for bankruptcy, you sacrifice some of your privacy, but I don't know, this sounds like it's a little too far. But above all, I feel that I have a right to know, as the trustee should be charged with the responsibility to tell me. My attorney can't clairify on this.

All the dancing in the streets by the terrorists and insurgents in Iraq after the Dems forced a bill through stating they feel the American military will fail?

Believe me, they are loving it.

And right now, the Democrats hope America fails in Iraq as much as the terrorists do. If this surge is a victory, it will make them look like fools.

Since 9/11 we have not been attacked. These Muslim Terrorists want us dead for many years before, during, and after 9/11. Yet, congress votes on a non binding resolution to end the war in Iraq. Do they expect the terrorists to stop fighting once we leave? Don't they realize if we leave Iraq too soon, their country will collapse and the terrorists will follow us back to the USA? What say you?

Its plainly obvious we have been headed in that direction for the past 6 years. I am amazed we allowed Bush to eliminate habeas corpus protection, support torture, and mislead us into a bogus war. Did he not also say he'd find life easier if he were a dictator ?
That is just a short distance away from being the decider.

By nature Indian Muslims are peace lovers and very hard working people. Unfortunately they don't have a system and leadership to tap their potential. Right now, they are considered as a burden or non performers. They do not have any interest in building the nation and uplifting their life stayle. They don't build hospitals, world class education and reasearch institutes, banks and they don't even modernise their madrassa education. Intellectual Muslims prefer to stay away and are too afraid to raise their voice against the mullahs and clerics.

What is the solution?

I see people on here regularly arguing over religion, specifically Christianity. One group points out talking points in the bible to illustrate how bad and destructive it is. The other arguing what a peaceful and morally superior religion is described in the bible. I just want a show of hands on who has actually read the bible from front to back. Not skipping piece by piece but the entire thing cover to cover. Also please state whether you are religious or not.

The Democrats complain non-stop about his lack in creating social economic plans to fix our "doomed" economy...
specifically citing a growing number of bankruptcy's (which is directly caused by unlearned baby-boomers, and is expected to drop within the next 5-10 years when most of the baby-boomers retire), a degenerating social security, and a degrating welfare policy (both meant to be temporary solutions by FDR to balance wealth after the depression)...

Now what i dont understand is.. the Democrats publicly blame the Bush Administration for the declining social securtiy and welfare checks...

However, the Democrats (for example Hillary Clinton, because im on her webpage right now actually) are in favor of allowing illegal immigrants (who make up 1/3rd of the prisoners in our prisons [in which we pay for with tax dollars as US citizens], (one) recently killed 5+ people in a hate attack in a small mall, etc..) to partake in the Government's "dry" Social Security fund.
