Right, I have a fantastic idea, build a steel high rise replica of one of the towers using cheapest materials, get an old dc-10 or other old jet plane and fly the plane into the tower. The worldwide TV rights would easily raise enough money to compensate the cost. Profits could be given to families of victims of 9/11. Then we can put the whole thing to bed finally. (when you all see the tower burn and burn and hardly move)

And think of something more interesting to say than : OMG you are such a loony ! ra ra raaa raaa etc.

It’s as if the US is in a perpetual state of campaigning and fund raising. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think that this is the way it has always been. Where is this going to take the country? How can your representative do his job if he has to devote all his time to raising money for the next election?

Once their profits return to a normal level, there will be no more tax. That money can be invested into alternative energy sources. Afterall, they (oil companies)made such huge profits by NOT having any competition. Providing competition would support a free market. What would be the problem with this?

Isn't this shear brainwash, propaganda & malipulation just to keep "the natives or the flock in step!" This is carried out by Media & Religous groups. If you do NOT confront the truth or Reality the ruling class will continue to walk all over you.

Remember the security forces are being paid out of money given to private contractors and it is estimated thee are some 35,000 private security forces in Iraq alone with some 7-8000 in Afghanistan.
As another point of interest, american military men and women are protecting private contractor projects who have private security forces.

What country has been involved in every war the past century that didn't even have a reason to be involved in? What country crossed the oceans to fight? What country is always involved in the conflict in the middle east? What country has nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, helicopters, nuclear warheads up the yang yang, every kind of sophisticated weapon there is? The fact is no country can think about harming America. We live too far away from other countries. These countries don't have the means to get here, but we can sure have troops stationed in almost every country. So just ask yourself which countries are always in every conflict and you'll know who the real terrorist bastards are.

There is this house that I am completely in love with. It's Victorian style house that has been abandoned. On the Outside it looks like it needs a lot of work but my husband and I are interested in buying it. We have thought about "breaking in" to look inside but we're afraid we'd get in trouble with the cops. If we explained the situation that we're looking to buy it would they accept that? Or what are some means to find out who owns the house?

The AK 47 was buit after WWII made cheaply sent everywhere but to those who say it killed more than any other weapon it in truth lags far behind the use of the M-16 variants and all of US manufacture.
Whenever it has been used against forces with HK or Colt derivatives of the original m-15 , the FN models of combat weaponry it has been a death knell for the holders of AK's.

I just heard that Nancy Pelosi has just refused the $900.00/hr. corporate jet that was assigned her as house speaker.

Instead she is insisting on what will cost the taxpayers
$1 MILLION $ dollars a year, to construct to her specifications,
an airline large sized jet that will have a shower, game room, seat 57 passengers,yadayada- in order so that she and her entourage can travel R/T- Washington DC to SanFrancisco on an ongoing basis.

Doesn't it seem most ironic that Pelosi of all people (she herself stands behind Al Gore in his cause for Global Warming)- is insisting on a HUGE POLLUTANT MACHINE to be made for her so that she can go ahead and ABUSE the very cause that she has publically stood for from the beginning!!!???!!

Perhaps we as a nation should start to hold accountable the intentions of these politicians before they wiggle into office.

I think the claim that Bush planned 9/11 is a myth... so I don't engage in discussions about it.

See how that works? Why spend so much time and energy talking about something if you don't believe in it in the first place?

On Wednesday the U.S. House passed a bill that says the minimum wage in this country will rise over time from $5.15 an hour to $7.25. Now, here's the thing. Included in the small print is the fact that the minimum wage will now include the islands of the northern marinas but it exempts American Samoa which is the only U.S. Territory not subject to minimum wage laws.
Eric Cantor and Patrick McHenry have found there's a loophole in the new minimum-wage increase: no hike for American Samoa. Why? Star-Kist Tuna is a major employer there, with its headquarters in Speaker Nancy Pelosi's district.

Currently an AIDS epidemic is sweeping the world. In countries like China and continents like Africa, the Catholic church plays a fairly significant role in political and religious feeling. Should the Catholic Church change it's policy on contraception such as condoms to try and reduce the spread of AIDS?

On one side, condoms can save lives by preventing the spread of AIDS, but on the other side condoms can increase sexual carelessness and premarital sex by taking some of the "edge" off sex.

Maybe the Catholic Church should merely work towards better sex education rather than outright changing their policy? Or should they take an even harder line on promiscuity and traditionally polygamous cultures?
