A mother in the the U.S. is greeted at her door step by her daughter's (dad's side)grandmother and two American police. The police are there to enforce a court order for TEMPORARY custody of her three yr old girl until a later court appearance. The order is signed by a Puerto Rican judge. The order grants the grandmother temporary custody of a three yr old girl. The mother at this time suspects that the grandmother bribed a judge to sign the order.
Sometime later before the court appearance, the mother recieves a call from the grandmother stating that her daughter was stung by a large insect and later died. There have been no death certificates

Will the growing minority vote make the Republican party obsolete? Will they force Republicans to hug the political center philosophically? Could the swelling minority vote cause Republicans to abandon the far right in order to survive?

I live in NJ were gun laws are insane and the country sheriff has refused me a long gun license. In nj the sheriff can refuse you for any reason and they dont have to tell you why. Anyway. I live in a suburb with some moderate crime abd gang activity and I also am a civil war buff. I own a 1861 springfield rifle musket ( its a reproduction), I would like to load it and keep it for a home defense weapon. Do you think this would be a good idea under my circumstances?

Ms. FOXX. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to express my disappointment with the broken promises of the Democratic leadership. I had high hopes that the promise of unlimited amendments and bipartisanship would prevail in the 110th Congress, but there have been no signs of these promises.

From the beginning, hypocrisy and corruption have reared their ugly heads. The minimum wage bill is touted as a massive relief for the poor, while only 2.5 percent of the population are actually making the minimum wage. This bill was nothing more than a kickback to unions, who use the Federal minimum wage to negotiate their salaries. This increase is a whopping 41 percent over 26 months; not to mention that in the bill American Samoa was exempt, a place where there are two canning plants for Del Monte Corporation, headquartered in San Francisco.

The pledge for open debate and unlimited amendments has been completely ignored. Democrats' bills have been rammed through without opportunity for amendments. So many promises made, all of them broken.

Mr. Speaker, this 100-hour agenda is a pure sham of political showmanship. The Democrats have distorted the North Carolina State motto, which is, ``To be rather than to seem.'' While these bills seem worthwhile, they are nothing more than window dressing for political gain.

I asked for hot water at a local sandwich place to warm up formula for my baby. They fill up the coffee cup with hot water up to the half cup as per my request. When I went back to the table with cup and put the bottler in overflew and burnt my hand. It turned really red and gave me blisters. Next day, i went to the doc and was told that it was 2nd degree burnt. Can I hold the store responsible for it? I contacted them and they said it was provided per my request and that I was warned about it being hot. I was not charged for it.

I totaled a friends car about a year ago. Needless to say we're no longer friends. the car was worth only 8k dollars but has an outstanding loan of nearly 10k. Unfortunately it had no collision insurrance. I had asked him a number of times whether the car was fully insured and he always insisted that it had everthing it needed. Dont cars with loans on them need collision? Illinois Here. Anyway what are my obligations, he's threatening small claims court because im not willing to pay for it. He hasnt told the loan company about the accident and the car was sold to a junkyard right after the accident.

His liability took care of the damage to the other car but since there was no collission i guess he's **** out of luck on his end.
