I feel secure because this is the greatest and most powerful nation on the planet, but I will fell more secure when we don't have moronic clowns making major decisions for us.
Bush did not make my life better...oh yeah, I got a $600 check in the mail...I'd give it back to undo his mess any day. I don't trust him, I don't feel we are safer because of him, and he doesn't have much common sense.

Better? are you kidding me? My life has not gotten better by any stretch, because of anything that elite loving @**hole has done! Just like many of the working poor, my life has improved in some ways and gotten worse in other ways, and Bush has nothing to do with the good things! Unless you are a member of the haves or the have mores, that are his base, I have a hard time imagining what he might have done that would improve any person's life. Bush is the real terrorist! Not alone of course, but the evil people behind him are, and he is happy to oblige them!!!! 9/11 was an inside job!!! The truth will come out soon, and then no one will be able to deny it or scoff at it...but I hope the truth comes out before it is too late!!!

I feel secure because despite our diverse opinions, we are able to discuss them without strapping bombs on our children.

Bush has blundered on quite a bit, but given the options at each election, I still feel that I made the best choice in terms of national defense and homeland security strength. And what's largely ignored has been the economic turn-around due to his tax-cuts. His spending has been more than what I would like to see, but we are beginning to see the overall revenue outpace spending (reduction in the deficit). The gap between rich and poor has received some overhyped attention, much of which can be attributed to too many illegals working at below minimum wage and too much incentives for welfare recipients who are capable of doing the jobs "that Americans aren't willing to do".

So , Bush is no Ronald Reagan by any means, but I guess we do need to remind ourselves that we live in a country that many want to get in and so many countries are those that many are trying to get out. Maybe, the 06 vote in which Bush lost the support of his base will ensure us a better candidate in 08. If not, the conservatives will continue to punish the GOP while the libs continue to reward the Dems with more power. What a great country!

EDUCATING AMERICA

I feel completely secure. So long as Republicans control the White House I feel secure. If the Democrats ever reclaimed the White House I am certain that we would be attacked and our women might even be forced to wear Burkas because the Liberal Democrats can't stand up to radical Islam.

Remember when we were humiliated by the Iranians and our people were held hostage for 444 days. Jimmy Carter was walking around wearing a sweater, all hunched over, and America was impotent.

Thank God Republicans have controlled the White House for 28 of the last 40 years and it will be 36 of the last 48 once War Hero and Prisoner of War John McCain is twice elected President of the United States.

God Bless America--Liberals notwithstanding.

Not as long as BushOilCo is in power. Every part of their agenda is about making us less secure. They play for control of the Gulf Oil Region has destabilized it and caused a dramatic increase in anti-American feeling in the Arab world and a loss of respect otherwise. The accumulation of massive debt since they took power has made weapons and war making corporations billions in profits while the nation is plunged into debt. http://www.uuforum.org/deficit.htm Negotiations like the North American Union are an attack on the middle class and working poor of this country, supporting and encouraging corporations to outsource jobs out of the country and leaving workers to compete with Mexicans for the lowest paying jobs left over. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965
These men have done nothing to increase our security while introducing things like torture and the Patriot Act which do nothing for our rights at home. Our security will only improve when they are out of power and anymore influence in how the affairs of this country are handled.

Yes and no. I feel secure in my career and in my retirement (many years to come). However, GW Bush has initiated a chain of events that could lead to another world war. When I see so many misconceptions about Iraq as being the war on terrorism, my expectations of not going to war are less.

NO! I feel insecure because guys like Newt Gingrich are talking about there being "an appropriate time to suspend the First Amendment"!!! I feel insecure because ALL the basic rights we've come to take for granted are slowly being chipped away- DESTROYING the very freedoms our troops are supposed to be fighting for! I feel insecure because my fellow Americans don't remember the words that helped launch our Revolution: "I know not what course others may take, but give me liberty, or give me death!" I feel insecure because my fellow Americans would rather let people with no way to defend themselves die rather than face the threats of the world for themselves. I feel insecure because George Bush and his administration have done NOTHING to make my life better, and done EVERYTHING they could to make it WORSE.

jennyann, our problem, is not with terrorist or people running across our borders, our most important problem is losing our freedom to the Zionist who have covered their tracks very well and have got the American people so brain washed they don't see the danger of being completely enslaved, I know these other problems are important but our freedom should come first,
once our freedom is secured then we should all unite against these other problems, but, now the Zionist have control of our monetary system and our news media , same as they did in Germany in the early 30s where they litterly starved the Germans and had complete control over them and we are almost in the same situation now, are we going to unite and kick them out or be their slaves?

Yes, I feel secure in America, and every day I thank God that I don't live in Somalia, Indonesia, North Korea, or even France.

George Bush has kept our economy running strong despite the disasters that occurred like Katrina and 9/11.

That probably isn't the negative kind of answer that you were fishing for, but there you have it.

I no longer feel Secure in America since the Democrats took over Congress.
(There is a reason why some of the terrorist groups celebrated the Democrat Victory.)
