the entire trial of Saddam, was engineered by the us authorities, and it was a travesty of justice.Saddam's defence lawyers were killed under mysterious circumstances. important evidence was not shown to the defence lawyers.Saddam was prevented from questioning the witnesses testifying against him. he was to have been tried in an international court. he died like a martyr.even his last wish to be shot by a bullet was not honoured.the message sent by the imperialist forces is clear.WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO INVADE ANY SOVEREIGN COUNTRY AS PER OUR WHIMS AND FANCIES AND REMOVE THE LEADER OF ANY COUNTRY WHO DEFIES OUR ORDERS AND WE HAVE GOT RIGHT TO ANNIHILATE ANY PERSON ON THIS EARTH.THE US EXPANSIONIST FORCES TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO ASSASSINATE CASTRO, TOPPLED THE ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF ALLENDE OF CHILE, SUPPORTED ANTI GOVERNMENT FORCES OF NICARAGUA .THE HANDS OF THE US IMPERIALIST FORCES WERE STAINED WITH THE BLOOD OF SEVERAL THOUSANDS OF VIETNAMESE, IRAQIS, KOREANS. NOW IT IS HIGH TIME FOR ALL THE PEACE LOVING PEOPLE TO RAISE THEIR VOICES AGAINST WORLD COP, GEORGE BUSH AND HIS ONLY LOYAL ALLY BLAIR.BEFORE IRAQ WAS INVADED BY THE US FORCES, THERE WERE NO RELIGIOUS TERRORISTS AND SECTARIAN VIOLENCE. NOW IRAQ WAS MADE A BREEDING GROUND FOR RELIGIOUS TERRORISTS AND AFTER IT WAS INVADED MORE THAN 6,00,000 INNOCENT IRAQIS DIED AND 3,000 AMERICAN SOLDIERS DIED. WHAT EVER BE THE OPINIONS OF SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE MORE LOYAL THAN BUSH EXPRESS THEIR ANTI SADDAM OPINIONS, THE PEACE LOVING PEOPLE OF THE USA REJECTED BUSH'S POLICY IN IRAQ BY THEIR VERDICT IN NOVEMBER. IN ALL THE POLLS CONDUCTED PEOPLE EXPRESSED THEIR WRATH AGAINST THE BUSH'S POLICY. IRAQ WAS INVADED FOR OIL ONLY. IT IS AS SIMPLE AS TWO TWOS ARE FOUR. IF THAT IS NOT THE CASE, WHY DID NOT THE US SEND FORCES TO PAKISTAN? MYANMAR?ALL THE PATRIOT INDIANS SHOULD DENOUNCE THE EXECUTION OF SADDAM WHICH WAS ENGINEERED BY THE USA.SADDAM WAS THE ONLY MUSLIM RULER, WHO SUPPORTED INDIA'S CAUSE ON KASHMIR ISSUE.

I think the Iraqis had no choice but to execute Saddam. As long as he remained alive there would always be a fear among those who are currently in charge that Saddam might come back to pwer and take revenge. The Americans however set up a show trial that was never going to give Saddam a fair trial. For this reason the hanging might always ber seen as victors justice and I think the Americans made a mistake this way. Saddam was an evil tyrant during his life and I can't see many people shedding any tears for the man

Nobody has the right to do what the U.S. is doing. No more than Hitler had the right to do what he was doing. People do what they want mostly, until they die, then comes the judgment. Saddam was executed primarily to hide evidence about U.S. complicity in his years long regime, everything from the chemical weapons that he bought to encouragement to invade Iran. You see, he was their strong man in the region until it was decided that another strategy would be preferable. I still don't know what that strategy is, because it seems not to be working, unless failure is the strategy. You never know, perhaps the powers that be are waiting for us all to get fed up with all the useless wars so that they can convince us that world totalitarianism is what we all really want, and what is best for us all in a New Age Order of some kind. No, Saddam did not hang for justice, but for a more nefarious end of somebody else's design. Don't believe the commonly reported stories, there is always something more sinister lurking underneath it all. If they really wanted to know the truth, they would have sent him to The Hague, where he may have had a real trial.

The US invaded Iraq because of Weapons of Mass Destruction, we didn't find them but knew they had them because we still have the receipts. The Iraqi government executed Sadam who is responsible for the deaths of millions of people not 147. When another country is a threat to our National Security we deal with it. We want them to take of their own crap which they don't seem to be capable of doing and leave us alone. Get over it this is sooo last year.

Because obviously he was a terrible man who killed thousands, there ideology also makes them lunatics, check your facts he killed way more than 147 people. we don't need weapons of mass destruction when there government has such a history. If you cant see why people like that have to die than you really need to start researching your own stuff. stop listening to Hollywood and the liberal media. Are you a citizen or natural born American? its in the history of this country to take down Evil dictators and regimes. you take your freedom for granted. what if someone blew them selves up next to you tomorrow would you start thinking differently? America's values have always centered around helping others in times of need. sure there are things that we are not proud of, but i would say the good far out weighs the bad.

On the face of it and as per your admission also, Saddam Hussein was not an innocent person. He was hanged for having executed 147 innocent Iraqi citizens who were entitled for justice. He had grown into a monster who had police only to protect his own interest in Iraq. The US action was only a catalyst for his end. He was certainly not ruling Iraq with the support of majority among Iraqis. He was a dictator like Hitler but was not yet a danger to the rest of mankind like Hitler. Saddam's execution is fully justified.

yes. was the rounding up of 800 male kurds ages 14 and older and mass executed justified? how about the mustard gas bombing that killed 1500 civilians (mainly women and children) justified?
THE USA is the most powerful country in the world, thank God., but he wasn't tried or hung on USA soil.

There were WMD's found just the main stream media refused to tell you. Those WMD's were sent to Syria. Saddam was tried, convicted and executed by IRAQI, not U.S., courts. He was given a fair trail. Something his victims did not get.

he didn't get executed for anything that had to do with the war on Iraq, or the reason we took over iraq...

we killed him for the genocide in the 80's...

We didnt hold the trial for saddam
we didnt hang saddam
iraq did...

all we did was catch saddam in a hidey - hole

we cant police anything other then America...
we cant police Gitmo either.

,They executed Saddam because he had outlived his usefulness whether he was good or bad is immaterial. He was surplus to requirement unfortunately for him, just like jade goody fiasco in England the racist or terrorist card was played and someone has to pay the price.

Live by the sword; you die by the sword.
I am by no means pleading Saddam's innocence, nor accentuating Saddam's guilt. Who am I to judge?
