Humm. I haven't seen video shown by CNN as yet. But I am reminded of the so-called "thousands" of Iraqis who helped bring down Saddam's statute after the 'invasion'. Later we find there were less than 50 and they were brought on board by the US military. While it is true that some Iraqis are happy. most are just as afraid of the US as they were of Saddam.
Sorry,. I just don't trust US news anymore. That includes CNN, Fox 5, CNBC,, MSCNBC, Washington Post, NYTimes Channels 2, 4, 7 9, 11 and other large news organizations.
When the cable networks were covering US tanks crossing the desert between Kuwait and Baghdad, the embeds reported hundreds of firefights along the way. Later we found that the troops were shooting at thousands of old abandoned rusted Iraqi trucks, tanks, cars and other vehicles etc which were left where they were bombed after the Persian Gulf War.
CNN is no better than other news outlets.
So now I go to several overseas sites....then I compare.

We can either deal with the illegal immigration problem now as described on the books or we will certainly deal with open civil war in the very near future. The American people better decide right now which it will be, because time is running out for Congress to be able to fix the problem. Once that happens, we won't have to worry about civil war in Iraq, it will happen right here in the United States.

The American people need to understand that the United States is under attack! No, not by Iraq or Iran, but by Mexico!...The Mexican government is deliberately and systematically working to destabilize and undermine the very fabric and framework of American society.

As a US Citizen, I'm not even allowed to light firecrackers in celebration, even? Perhaps they HAVE MORE PERSONAL CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS THERE THAN WE HAVE IN THE US!

If a female was walking(with a friend) and then two men walked by and touched her but she was too scared at that moment to call the cops, is there anything she can do or pretty much nothing can be done? (There were other witnesses but nothing was done).

He killed Hussein for dad, now it's over. It seems just like yesterday he was at that school hearing the news of 9/11. He hatched a plan, and now it's completed. Or is this just the start in a legacy of death and destruction?

I was stopped on the 10 freeway close to the AZ border. I was actually driving ~120mph, but the cop wrote the ticket for 102 - my explanation is that he did not want to deal with actually arresting me on Christmas Eve (??). This is my first speeding ticket - what should I do next? Go to court, beg for being able to go to traffic school, or ....? Any insights are appreciated :-)

The listing stated rental came with a washer/ dryer, which was not in house. It was not cleaned and I gave a cleaning deposit. Trash in garage. And also illegal substances (pharaphenilia) was also found. I was told to do my walk through and send in the form with anything that needed to be done. After finding what I did, I don't even feel safe there. And would like my total deposit back and look for another rental?

Should we get rid of science? Should we stop teaching it and denounce those that study it?

Science produced the atomic bomb, the machine gun, biological weapons, missiles, bombs, napalm etc etc.

Specifically

We, the USA, attempted to assassinate Saddam before we invaded Iraq.

Now that we know, the intelligence was false and Saddam was no threat to the USA, would we have been guilty of a wrongful murder or terrorism if we had actually killed him?

Or did we have a right to 'step in' at that pt and 'take him out'...

Please think before answering. This is not a question about his quilt of inhumane acts. It is a question about when and who has the right to assassinate a leader.

Some argue assassinating Hitler would have saved millions of Jews. Yet, Hitler was invading other countries and a threat to the world. See the difference?

So, if a leader is not a threat to X country, does X country have the right to assassinate that leader based on his actions within his country alone?

Should we start making a list of what leaders to assassinate next?

Would we have a right to be upset if someone charged Bush with atrocities or does that only apply to atrocities in his own country

The question is entirely legitimate since Jews (outside of Israel) are indeed overwhelmingly liberal and disproportionately left of liberal as well. For example, other than blacks, no American group votes so lopsidedly for the Democratic Party. And the question is further sharpened given that traditional Jewish values are not leftist. That is why the more religiously involved the Jew, the less likely he is to be on the Left. The old saw, "There are two types of Jews — those who believe Judaism is social justice and those who know Hebrew," contains more than a kernel of truth.
