Why oh why do people develop beliefs based on other peoples experience?

Sorry this bugs me on this site, we get guys moaning of the muslim invasion of france who probbably cant speak a word of french, couldnt find it on a map or know the difference between Paris and Marseilles, we have had people passing comments on Israel who dont even realise what the Golan Heights are or why Jaffa isnt Tel Aviv, the same with Iraq.

I think you cant comment unless you have experienced it yourself, if you havent been to the place, havent seen things for yourself, dont pass judgements and opinions! Otherwise your basing your opinions on someone else, your just as much a sheep as anyone else! Stop moaning on Yahoo and actually go to the places you moan about, find out for yourselves! Stop being ignorant sheep. Sorry, rant over

Where are all the patriots now - volatile question?

Warning: This question may cause aggressive reactions no matter what party you are.

I never agreed with occupying Iraq but once we did, I, like McCain and others, kept saying we needed twice as many troops. I still believe this and still think that is the only way to get the situation under control since no one will listen and divide Iraq into 3 states.

Now with that said, last week or so I ask a question about this. A couple answerers said that wasn't an option because we didn't have the #s right now... might result in re-establishing the draft.

So, I ask those now... demos and reps that were all gun-ho when we invaded Iraq thinking it was going to be a cake-walk... I saw ppl from both parties with those yellow ribbons on the back of their minivans...

Where is your patriotism now that we are losing? Or do you only believe in a cause when you don't have to sacrifice and it cost you nothing?

Because he lied, should Bush reimburse Canada for it's expenses in Iraq, rebuilding the US destruction?

The axis of power, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld gave the monopoly to Haliburton Corp for the reconstruction. Who are the owners and beneficiaries? These guys, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld misled the world, to whose profit? It's definitely OUR cost, in money and lives.

Layer is stealing all of my father's estate money.?

My father passed on in May of 2005 with an estate over 2 million. At the time of his death, he wa involved in a lawsuit from my brother-in-law over a house that my mother left him in the will. My mother died in sep of 2003. She left the house to my sister and brother -in-law, but my father had a "life estate" to stay there. In other words, when he died the house would go to them. Well, they sued my father to pay the taxes on the home, and his attorney took over 300k from my dad, and still the case goes on, even thouhg my father is deceased. My father's money is being sucked away y bogus attorney fees. How can i get it investigated and have them disbarred? The attorney is in California and i live in maryland, so its not like i can walk in his office.

Why doesn't CNN realize that they lose viewers by only giving one side to the story ??

I know Fox News Channel is slanted to the right, and I don't mind if CNN is slanted to the left, but, but, but, I don't want my news channel only giving one-side of the story and CNN does a feeble job of pretending that they are fair and balanced !!!!

Should the Republican Party be banned ?

Look at the similarities between Bush and Saddam.

Both have interests in oil. (Saddam has oil interest in Iraq - Bush is an oilman too).
Both invaded other countries (Saddam in Kuwait - Bush everywhere else).
Both have accused of rigging elections. (Saddam every year - Bush in 2000)
Both dislike Iran. (Saddam had fought against Iran - Bush called them part of the axis of evil).
Both have WMD's. Oh wait, sorry scrub that last one.

After the Iraq invasion, the ruling Ba'ath party was banned in Iraq, so should the US do likewise and ban the Republicans ?
