America is falling apart on a number of fronts.

Social Security is fauling apart - considering the amount of the budget and the debts caused by the IRAQ FIASCO - SS is not going to be fixed...not by Bush anyway.

Abortion is not going to be changed by anyone. The only thing that can be done is illegal practices of making abortions harder to get.

Bush has done nothing about illegal immigration.
HE HAS NOT IMPLEMENTED STEPS OUTLINED BY THE 9/11 COMMISSION REPORT [cnn], He has done nothing to stop illegal immigration and is planning basicaly to give the illegals in America Amnesty [cnn],[wiki]

Since Bush's presidency, North Korea has gained nuclear weapons and Iran is FAST behind them. During Clinton's administration, Clinton used diplomacy to keep them from trying to develope nuke, but Bush's illegal Iraq war SCARED those dictators into developing nuclear weapons fearing they would be invaded next.

Let's say a Romanian soldier committed a war crime in 1916 (perhaps he was found beating German POWs) and fled to Zurich. Would he have been safe there or could someone (Swiss, German, Romanian, etc.) have come looking for him and arrested him there? I know Switzerland was officially neutral, but could it have really functioned as a safe house for people fleeing the war for one reason or another? Thank you to anyone who cares to venture an answer.

a military prison it is wrong. There were pictures taken of american soldiers torturing some Iraqies. They were captured and put into a prison. So here is the question why is it ok to kill a person on the street but illegal to torture them in a prison.

These americans are being court marsheled or already have been and are facing long prison terms.

None of it makes any sense..

I have recently been told by my landlord that he can evict me at anytime he wants. Just by sending a police officer over here to change locks on my door. I haven't seen any paperwork except a 7day notice. I called Legal Aid and they told me to call the courts. I called the courts and they say nothing has been filed. My question is can I get a PPO against my landlord until I move out on Nov. 11th?

I may be paranoid, but I think the police in our town are out to get us! They've never been very friendly and I even saw them listed on an Internet site involving police harrassment. They restrained my spouse after a seizure with handcuffs (& now has severe nerve damage) We have mentioned suing but not to them). Now they refused to respond to a 911 call on Sat. On Sun. my spouse was in a huge car crash. Though our car was broadsided by the other car and hurled 30 feet onto its side, (the small car that hit it MUST have been speeding!), they refused to give us info about the driver or anything 'til the next day, produced 3 witnesses who were nowhere in sight, AFTER charging my spouse with "failing to yield"! We've already been turned down by 3 lawyers regarding suing the cops for the handcuff case, so we wonder where to turn, legally and wonder if they are treating us like this because they think we're about to sue. Also, if we DO, whom do we turn to if the COPS are harrassing us?!

Long story short.SSI case filed in 2002,been fighting with them all this time.Last May Judge finds that person is disabled.Ok person has lived with someone since 1996,get married in 2003 while fighting for SSI.Now SSI says income too high for benifits...ok fine....Now back pay up to time they get married they say no pay....based on the income (other persons)even though they were not married and that person did not work and had no income.This dont sound right to me.How can they do that???
