Absence of democracy, Wepons of Mass Destruction and support to terrorism were the reasons given for the Iraq war or which the latter two were false. In fact Bush's close Ally Pakistan becomes a fitter case for a war if these are the conditions for an Invasion. True the Taliban were asking for it for a long time, eventually someone else would have kicked their @ss if it wasnt for America. Did Bush's personal bias against Saddam lead America to war with Iraq? Did Bush play with the sentiments of the Americans and the support of the International countries after 911? Surely The U.S wouldnt have attacked Iraq if it wasnt for 911 which we know Iraq had nothing to do with. Surely the U.S public was lied about 911 and led to a war because of one man's bias.

I have yet to see the United States military organize huge parades like the ones in Russia, China, North Korea, etc. Why is this? I'm talking about huge formations walking down a street, tanks, missles, the whole enchilada. We have the best military in the world and we never do these type of events.

Why not just move to North Korea where torture, lies, secrecy, and daily killing is ok , and one man holds all the power.

I must admit that I was shocked to see the following words attributed to actor-rapper Will Smith, responding to a question of whether 9-11 had changed anything for him:

No. Absolutely not. When you grow up black in America you have a completely different view of the world than white Americans. We blacks live with a constant feeling of unease. And whether you are wounded in an attack by a racist cop or in a terrorist attack, I'm sorry, it makes no difference.

You cannot get much more hypocritical than that. Smith's evident contempt for America is baffling. He is apparently thankless for the opportunities America has given him to be free, work hard and succeed. Rather than feel for his country when it is viciously attacked, he seems unaffected and indifferent to the pain so many felt.

If he really were a terrorist like the misguided knuckledraggers keep asserting, then the ACLU would be going to court daily to make sure he is treated fairly and that none of his civil liberties have the impression of being infringed upon. The dems would support him for once. Kind of sad. The party of weakness and terror enablers.

Most of our problems with the Muslim world stem from our own greed. In 1953 Iran wanted to nationalize the oil industry but the Brits had a company there called the Anglo Iranian oil co. that had interests in the oil. They were offered money for their interests but turned it down. Truman did not interfere but when Eisenhower got in they were able to convince him that Iran was in danger of allying with the Russians so with the aid of British and American intelligence they brought the shah to full power. The shah eventually became a brutal dictator but the people revolted and replaced him. This also led to the invasion by students of our embassy there. My point in telling you this is that in many ways we are responsible for the hate against us.
Reagan did nothing to try to sooth relations and in fact encouraged Saddam Hussein in his war with Iran. So you can blame who you wish, but to me it seems we got ourselves into this quandary and the best course of action would be to admit past mistakes and try for better relations. I really don't buy the fact that most Muslim nations really don't want peace with us. They know they would be annihilated if they were to seriously damage this country say with a nuclear or biological attack.

Communism and terrorism may rear its horrendous head(s). Once again a new dictator Russia seeks tsar power, Vladamir Putin. As he slowly removes the democratic power of the Russian people he makes a concerted effort with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadi Nezhad to connect the power of both communism and terrorism. A new evil is brewing. Why do we allow the grotesque power of individuals to override the destiny of millions?

I had an idea today while scarfing down my breakfast of ham and eggs. You remember the scene in "The Untouchables", when Sean Connery explains how to get Capone:

"He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue."

What if we adopted that thinking as our official response to Islamic rioting and terrorism? They kidnap an American citizen, we round up a few dozen of their citizens. They blow up a nightclub or an airplane, we bomb one of their cities anto rubble. They cut off an American's head, we behead twenty of them.

In short, whenever Muslims resort to violence, we turn it back on them twenty-fold. And there will be no mercy, no talk about "a few extremists". The message will be clear: either you clean your house of extremists immediately or we will clean it up for you.

That way, either the "peaceful" Muslims will take care of business, or there won't be enough of them left to be a problem.

Should the leader of our nation be stomping his feet like a little brat??

"President Bush warned defiant Republican senators yesterday that he will close down a CIA interrogation program that he credited with thwarting terrorist attacks if they pass a proposal regulating detention of enemy combatants, escalating a politically charged battle that has exposed divisions within his party."

So basically what he is saying that the congress will be blamed once he discontinues the program for "allowing" terrorists to attack us simply because they refuse to "alter" the Geneva Conventions to his liking. Bratty Bush??

They are the main source of funding and arming terrorists. Even the U.S has made arrests of terrorist who revealed that they had been trained in Pakistan. India and Afghanistan are continuously complaining about the Pakistani support to Militants and Taliban. Infact most of the Taliban are based in the Pakistani territory and continue to reign havoc amongst the coalition forces. Even President Bush has said that Pakistan needs to do more in stopping cross border attacks.

They all seem to hate the U.S. a lot.

Three other questions:

1. If they hate it so much here, wouldn't it be better to just go to a better country?

2. What Countries are better?

3. Why?
