I'm flying a hijack strategic bomber I'm on Bombay run over your city I just release a nuke over your city where your in and I hit the activator button but I got the wrong bomb activator switch mix up and I turn it off I hit the one on the hanger in the plane it's getting red hot and has damage the hook and wont drop off the hanger and I close the bombay doors and started hitting all the hanger switches all of the other nukes have drop off in a pile on the bombay door floor and I dont want to scuttle the nukes because I wanted to drop them on other cities where your friends and relatives might be. How long do I have with this hot nuke thats melting the shell? Do I have enough time to turn it around and drop it on your city again?

You fail to answer several needed questions.
1. Was the bomb set for air burst, surface or subsurface.

2. What model are you dropping, many bomber carried bombs can be lifted by one guy if he isn't a manlet like you.

3. Why do people ask these stupid questions, I hate when school is out.

Assuming you were smart enough to get a nuclear laden bomber and actually take off with it, and make it over a US city without getting shot down?

Bombs have triggers that arm the weapon to detonate at certain altitudes, by time or impact. If all the bomb did was fall into the bomb bay and went no further, assuming the doors were strong enough to not break open with all the bombs weighing down on them...

They won't go off, but you'd have a hell of a time getting the bomb bay doors open when you land to reset everything...

The chances of you getting into a nuclear laden bomber are minuscule (since there are no nuclear alert aircraft in the US, which means you would have to steal the plane, the bombs and load it yourself), let alone taxiing it out of parking, let alone making it to the runway, let alone making it airborne from the base with out getting stopped or shot to where the aircraft is not flyable, let alone getting very far from the base without getting pounced on by fighters...

Writing a book are we or does the bomber you stole have internet access?

Generally, once triggered, there is a very short delay. Unless it is detonated by altitude. Your best bet would be to fly out over the ocean. You can put the plane on auto-pilot, and go very low once you get out to sea. Once you drop below the altitude threshold for the activated bomb, you will know which one it is.

That is not something to joke around about especially in today's society. You shouldn't even be thinking of something like this. Too many people have perished through this horrible way. Becareful, lest you go too far, somebody "governmental" might not take this too lightly and when somebody starts checking you out, then you'll be wondering why.

Nukes don't go "critical" and get red hot like that. It appears that your whole premise is based on uneducated fantasy.

I couldn't decide what kind of an idiot would ask such a stupid question so I went to your '"Questions Asked' and looked. Now I know.

I suggest anyone else thinking of answering does so first.

You are sick. You might try asking the government of any G7 country and they will tell you WHAT TO DO AND WHERE TO DO IT. What I would say to you involves sex and travel, so GO F**K YOURSELF
