Someone makes a statement that a group is violent. The group responds by saying. "apologize or we will kill you and hurt lots of people up." The guy apologizes and the group says see, we aren't violent. And the media doesn't go nuts about it?

Your just as bad as the media. Just say it, if you say anything bad about Islam they become very angry and threaten to kill you. We here in the west are so afraid of offending them that we can't even call it what it is, not the war against terrorism, terrorism is a tatic, but the war against radical Islam.

It doen't make sense because if they threatened to kill him they are violent and the media love stories like this. They take it as an opportunyty like a juicy story to talk about someone.

This could be a lot of different religions. Christians have pretty much killed or enslaved more people in the name of God than any other group. Our excuses for enslaving and starving and torturing native Americans (while we broke treaty and treaty with them and stole their land) was that they were 'non-believers' so their lives were worthless compared to ours.

The Pope did NOT apologize. He regretted the Muslims getting upset and misinterpreting his words. Not an apology where I come from, and I say "Way to go your Eminence!"
