no matter where I go, or no matter what I listen to there is always more spanish then English. I mean the L.A. Mayor did a whole speech in spanish on tv 2 or 3 weeks ago. I walked into a walmart electronics area and all the tv's were set to spanish. Why is that? I thought we spoke english here but everythings is going spanish there are more spanish radio stations in cali then english. Every piece of paper I get has english and spanish on it. Why aren't they learning english? I don't mean to make anyone mad just want to know.

In 19 of Mexico's 31 states, the laws require that statutory rape charges be dropped if the rapist agrees to marry his victim.

Illegal aliens do not change their stripes just because they cross the border: they bring their repulsive cultural baggage with them. Furthermore, those foreigners who disrespect our borders are unlikely to honor the rights of women. Therefore the failure of our government to enforce existing immigration laws put women in particular at risk for violent crime.

Instead of calling them names, and thinking that all of them are Mexican, or that there is a "conspiracy" to "invade" your country by some obscure La Raza movement, or burning the Mexican flag, or shooting illegals at the border....

Why don't you "retaliate" by rallying against those who let them in, or those who hire them?? Why don't you...

boycott Wal Mart??

Mexican Restaurants??

some local taxes??

freelance gardeners or baby sitters or housekeepers??

hand-picked American grown fruits??

your local, good-for-nothing representative???

It's a waste of time to attack the immigrants, who will always go wherever there's an open door to a better livelyhood. Hit the source of the problem!!!

The UN has done so much good for humanity. World leaders working together for peace. There are so many examples. The UN presently has internatinal "peacekeepers", not it's own army.

WOULD YOU SUPPORT THE U.N. WITH IT'S OWN STANDING ARMY?

I believe in a strong UN. A strong UN, with a strong leader. A United Nations Army with about 5 million men....would save American lives. Would deal with international threats, and rogue nations. THEN WE WILL HAVE PEACE.

I do not understand, Islam has all its teachings preaching good, not bombing or killing. It preaches about equality to women, etc etc. So then why is it, that in countries like saudi arabia, which is supposedly the #1 muslim spot are women to allowed to drive for example. And why do a very very small amout of muslims manage to justify the killing of innocent people, when the muslim prophet and qu'ran say nothing of this and against it?? The only conclusion i can think of is that these people are NOT muslim, how can tehy claim to be muslim when they do evil things, just because they claim to be muslim it doesent mean that they are, to have a religeon you have to PRACTICE what it says. So this brings me to another point, why do americans manage to hate muslims when only a very small number of them, (i say less than 1%, who claim to be muslim) do evil things, and the rest are normal, good, law abiding citizens. A third point, are muslim citizens today the evilent of jews during ww2?(wars)

It is apparent that Britain and the USA are afraid to unleash their full military strength to irradicate the cancer that is terrorism. The enemy is known just as clearly as when Hitler was over-running Europe. Perhaps now is the time to use the nuclear alternative in order to bring the muslim nations back to heel. As unpleasant an alternative as it may be, it must be recognised that to remove a cancer, some benign cells must be sacrificed. Is there any sacrifice too great to guarantee the Western Worlds way of life?

unaffordable for citizens. If somebody goes to the emergecy room because they are illegal...guess what?...that costs more than a clinic. If you think illegals have no affect on the health care system that is like saying the wind has no effect on the ocean.

Was it 911, or November 9, 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell and left the U.S. at sea, drifting without an enemy in a strange new world, that changed everything?.

Through four decades of the Cold War, Americans had been able to feel reasonably united in their determination to fight evil. And everyone, even children, knew the name of the evildoers: "the commies." Within two years after the Wall fell, the Soviet Union had simply disappeared. In the U.S., nobody really knew how to fight evil now, or even who the evildoers were. The world's sole remaining superpower was "running out of demons," as Colin Powell complained.

The dissident group led by McCain — and backed by Powell, Bush's first-term secretary of state — said Bush's approach would jeopardize the safety of U.S. troops.

Powell said Bush's proposal would redefine the Geneva Conventions and encourage the world to "doubt the moral basis of our fight against terrorism" and "put our own troops at risk."
