In Minnesota, a Muslim and a Gay man are both running for a HOR seat on different parties. Does anyone know if they survived the primaries? I can't seem to find a news article on it.

renewable energy is now.
Why are we continuing to filter money to terrorists without any let up? Think about the motivations of your government honestly to yourself and ask: Is all this bloodshed really in MY/OUR best interest or special interest?

...of books owned by others, such as libraries, friends, etc (for personal use)? The owners already paid the artists for their job, so you're not stealing anything if you make copies of something that has been duly acquired and is now owned by another individual or corporation that lets you. Most car models are also patented, but no one would arrest you for taking a picture of a trafficked road.

12 Cities in England have directly elected mayors. They were elected by the voters in their own cities.

These Mayors have more power than the traditional civic mayor, as they run the council (GLA in London). These mayors are usually higher profile than civic mayors or council leaders.

The Mayors have a cabinet, members of the Cabinet and the Mayor take decisions which are then actioned by officers, but scruitanised by elected councillors in committies and full council meeting.

This system is working and allows voters to have a direct say in through their Mayor.

At least three of the twelve cities have recently began to try to un-seat the elected mayor or to remove the office of elected mayor.

What are you views.

Please Help!

About 2 years ago i rear-ended a company vehicle while driving my sister's car. She did not have insurance and the company claimed it on theirs. The company sent me a letter regarding collection of damages back in 2004. I agreed to it over the phone w/ one of their reps.

That was the last I heard of them until about a week ago when i got a letter regarding a court date(09/18) to seek damages the insurance company is trying to collect. I do not understand why they would involve the courts regarding this matter when it could be solved out of court. There was little attempt to collect anything & there was only a verbal agreement for me to pay them for the damages..i did not sign any contract regarding the damages. I would have fulfilled my obligation if i did.

What are my options for this? Now not only do i have to pay for the damaged vehicle but now also court costs as well as attorney fees! ANY info is gladly appreciated & god bless you for any advice that

I am a good employee, but there will be some tension with the company I am moving on to so that is why I forsee a some possible friction.
