I think that America is ready for a female president. I think that the main problem is that the world is not ready for a female president. Of course our country is number one, but weather we like it or not, the World is greatly affected by who becomes our President and I'm not sure how some cultures who still view women as inferior will respond to it.

a female president who stands for WHAT?

I'm not interested in voting for or against someone's gender. If you're asking if I think a woman is capable of being a good president, that depends on the woman.

The question should be is there a woman ready to be president? I think that there are, and they should be given a fair shot at it.

Been ready for years!!!! Just because of a gender it doesn;'t mean she will be better or worse....humans are humans. Women are intrusted to many roles in life including raising a family...well if they can handle that...they can most certainly handle this!!!

I don't think our country is prepared for that yet. I would love to see it happen, but I just don't think it will for many years to come.
