If he was trying to conceal himself during urination, then yes it is uncalled for and sadly probably legal and permanent. If he was not trying to conceal himself or a restroom was accessible, then it may be justified.

I think such a case could wind up in the Supreme Court unless there is more to the story.

If no child saw your friend take a leak - then no indecent exposure occurred and no need to register as a sex offender. On appeal, Colorado's highest court should throw this case out and order the lower court to remove your friend's name from the sex offender registry. Hire a good lawyer.

yes, unfortunately he is now a sex offender, the sex offender register is a one size fits all program, it is not fair, and now, not only does he register, but he is not also following their set of laws, neighborhood notification, schools and daycare notified, no living or working with in a certain footage of schools and daycare.
in background checks for employment he will show up as a sex
offender. He will more then likely i am sure have a hard time ever dating someone with minor children. sorry,

this is relatively of a tricky question. i do no longer think that they must in user-friendly terms for urinating in public, yet maybe for indecent exposure. Being categorized as a intercourse criminal is a extensive deal and you will continuously ought to sign in as a intercourse criminal. yet on the different hand, did the guy do it in front of youngsters? i think of that it relies upon on what the situation grew to become into.

I agree with the person that said it was disgusting. And despite what some pigs might say, not everyone does it. Obviously, he did it some place he could be seen, since the cop saw it. Next time let him learn and use self-control.

Your friend should have gotten a better lawyer. Unless they can somehow proove that your friend gets off taking a leak in public, then he shouldn't be required to register.

What's wrong with this country?

Your friend is obviously a disgusting pig. You see, in civilization, you urinate in a toilet bowl or (if you are a man) a urinal.

And pulling his wanker out in public for any reason is indecent exposure, like it or not.

Maybe next time he'll think twice before doing something so gross.

He should've hired an attorney, that's a bad rap sheet to have for doing that. The lawyer would argue whether it was infront of children, school, etc.

Yes I agree. Next time don't pee in public. Use a bathroom. This is not Paris. Welcome to America. The land of the free bathroom.
