Since an aircraft carrier sails into the wind during take-off and landing operations, there must be a terrific amount of turbulence immediately behind the ship.
My question is: How does a pilot making an approach on an aircraft carrier counter the turbulence and does the ship perform any manoeuvers to reduce turbulence.

I've never heard anyone say that they think Bush is a good president, so why did he get re-elected? And why doesn't anyone vote for a third party? We need to get rid of "career politicians". I say vote them all out and get new ones in!

evidence for a deterministic future:

What do you think will happen after Bush steps down asPresident, will he go scott free to enjoy his ill gotten new wealth when the oil industry finally gives him his share of the earnings? we had a renter that moved in with no deposit on the house. She left without paying the last 2 months utility bills and fixing the damages to the house. she gets a back child support check and has no children at home to support with that check. she also works full time. she did agree to fix the house and pay the bills when she left.

MYTH Carbon dioxide changes in the atmosphere cause temperature changes on the earth.
FACT A report in the journal 'Science' in January of this year showed using information from ice cores with high time resolution that since the last ice age, every time when the temperature and carbon dioxide levels have shifted, the carbon dioxide change happened AFTER the temperature change, so that man-made global warming theory has put effect before cause — this shows that reducing carbon dioxide emissions is a futile King Canute exercise! What's more, both water vapour and methane are far more powerful greenhouse gases than carbon dioxide but they are ignored.

I want to join the army but I need to divorce my husband first, (he has a mistress he cant seem to live without) Will the army let me join if I file the papers before I enlist? We have a 5 year old son who would have a place with his sister while I am in the army. HELP, I havent gotten up the courage to ask this of my recruiter it is kinda embaressing to admit to someone in person that my husband has/had a mistress.
