The immigration is usually from a less developed country to a more developed. And this has usually stood to mean east to west since 19th century because Asian and African countries were European colonies and sucked dry.
The only country that qualifies to be developed in east is Japan (second largest economy in the world). But the country's inflation was very high during nineties, and cost of living is up there. Plus, Japan is not open to immigration.
United States, on the other hand is a country of immigrants and of course the biggest economy in the world. Europe has been facing the problem of negative growth rate since decades and have welcomed the idea of immigration in the recent past. Australia, Canada and New Zealand have long being open to immigration.
Just as I mentioned earlier, its a flow from lesser per capita income to a healthier one. And so you find immigrants of Asian origin in every developed country.

no doubt. It is a typical phenomenon in the East Asia, and no relation with their language.
Nearly 100% of the population in Korea is Korean.
75% are Han race in China.
98% are Han Chinese people (not same with the one in China) in Taiwan.
98% are Japanese people in Japan.
They are so called "homogeneous" or "mono culture" nations.
It is very different from the western continents.
And these East Asian nation have already noticed and studied the problems which is happening in the multicultural countries.
eg. the racial and religional conflicts in France and London.
Today they don't think the immigration policy works well in every nations.

There is oriental in the Mexican bloodline. However very far removed. Scientific term-Asianic Mongoloid.
As you study the map, begin with Mongolia.
The migrants began as Indian-from India. They crossed through Russia and over through Alaska.
When they were conquered by Spain- that entered European Spanish into the bloodline as well as the Spanish language.
When columbus landed, he thought he had reached India, but he was wrong. That's why he called the Native Americans Indians.

This is not 100% true, there are lots of immigrants to those countries especially China... and they are from south asia (i.e. Indonisia, philippine, vietnam). So many job opportunities in China, and that's why so many americans and europeans are now learning chinese and doing businesses with China.

The Mexicans would never immigrate to China because of the limits on the number of kids.
