I am in the Air Force, I have many friends in many different services. It is a big debate between us of why we REALLY went there. Some see it as a cash cow for people in the senate, some see it for various other reasons. But why did we invade Iraq when Bin Laden was (and still is) alive, and at large.
Now before people start reporting me and calling me a revolutionist please understand i am just trying to get some answers. as far as i know this is what yahoo answers is here for.

Should the Western powers use a pre-emptive nuclear strike to wipe out the Iranian nuclear facilities AND the oil fields. That would reduce the Iranians to a primitive backward and poor nation which seems to be what they deserve.

I don't. I call it "Finally, a city of common sense." Illegal immigrants are law-breakers. They take way more than they put into the system, and we are NOT going to be intimidated by ad hominem attacks calling us racists or bigotted (specially since I am not white, but I still get called racist. Isn't that funny?).

Take back America people, and lets remind these criminals we are not in Tijuana here, but in a nation where we respect the rule of law.

My step-son wants a 9mm to carry when he goes hunting. He hunts with a rifle, but he was told that carrying a handgun isn't a bad idea when you're in the woods. He's 14 years old. Can he LEGALLY carry a hand gun? What if I bought it for him and was with him on the hunt? To me, this seems like an obvious no, but I just want some "ammo" to back up my belief. If you can, please provide a Web site or other info I can use to back this up. Thanks in advance!

This is in politics for one reason, I am talking about the political/governmental aspect of this.

Not once did the announcer mention that "its Clinton's fault," that the gays are coming for our children, that the college professors are ruining the country. Does this mean that the announcer is part of the liberal media conspiracy?

Internal peace is an essential first step to achieving peace in the world. How do you cultivate it? It's very simple. In the first place by realizing clearly that all mankind is one, that human beings in every country are members of one and the same family.

He is being very rude to the press. Don't you think he should try to be at least cordial? He's insulting them and getting kinda angry with them and they are offended. Does it matter? I know he's not running again or anything but he's not loved right now anyway.

What do you think?

Do you believe that american welfare system should be eliminated for the sake of rebuilding Iraq? I read people here all of the time crying that american citizens are not worthy of having welfare programs, but that spending on war, and subsequent rebuilding for another's country is justifiable. Do these people hate americans? I personally would rather help our own citizens first...

I fretted over how to ask this question for a long while. I considered saying, Native Americans, Indians, Aboregine, Indigenous, and all the rest, but on this forum those terms leave you wide open to scrutiny, criticism, racial slurs and those infamous, stupid, meaningless answers and insults.
Many Americans support illegal immigration and back their stand using the words, "Native Americans were here first, they had their land stolen from them", and so on. You all know this classic argument. Personally it insults me that they use the plight of my people to justify their reasoning in support of illegals. I would like to hear from my people, the red skinned Americans...do you support amnesty, illegal immigration...or not support? And I would like to know your reasons as well. I am a red skin by birth and an American by birth, I'm loyal to my country, my people and my fellow Americans. I am one of "We the People" regardless of history and do not support illegals or amnesty, never will.

I am a vegetable rights activist, please support my organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Vegetables. Each year there are literally millions of killing fields in the US where defenseless corn stalks are mowed down by slaughtering machines operated by heartless "redneck" farmers. Your support could help us to disable a tractor engine or slash the tires on a combine. Last month we successfully blockaded a wheat pasture in Iowa by chaining 17 of our fellow PETV members to the wheat. We can't do it without your support.

The politicians continually vote themselves raises but won't raise minimum wage.

The politicians and their families recieve free health care, the very best there is, but millions go without any healthcare at all in this country.

People on social security are told there might not be enough money down the road, but we send billions of money to other countries.

The president is saying on TV right now that millions will be sent to the middle east to build what never even existed before, yet there are millions homeless and without jobs right here.

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
