It says no torture, it says you have to be granted bail or a trial, and that your personal communications can't be spied on without probable cause and a court order, but now Big Government tells us it is necessary in order to keep US Safe. Is there any point in keeping the old Constitution around any more, or is it better forgotten? Do you like the Constitution?

I cannot fathom why people would intentionally inhibit the medical research that can literally save millions of lives and cure ANYTHING. With enough research it can cure anything so why are we stopping it? I understand why our president VETO'd it. He votes for the bible instead of the will of the American people. I'm curious what others think? I'm not attacking the other side im asking you to share your opinions with me so please be polite.

I had a medical condition that YES, I told my recruiter about- she told me to lie (yes she used those exact words). I really wanted to do something selfless with my life but due to the condition I just couldn't hack in in boot camp. I was discharged after six weeks, an uncharacterized early term separation. Will this be on some kind of record? If so what kind of record. FBI? I have no other issues that could be on records but I am very worried about this as I am about to get a new job and they do an extensive background check on new hires. I never told them I was in the military because I do not consider myself to have been in. I did a criminal records check on myself and nothing came up but I am still worried. Is there anyway this could come back to haunt me? Can others find out and how? If they can, what exactly can they find out, how much info will be there? Is there a way to get this cleared from my record? Please help! -especially those in the military. Thank you so much

I don't understand why she doesn't want a tombstone for her dead son, Casey. She says she doesn't want to believe he's dead, so she doesn't put a tombstone. However, she is constantly saying how he IS dead, and how it is all Bush's fault (even though Casey made the choice to go into the Army....), but she says that she doesn't want a reminder he's dead. She continues to bring him up, but she says that she just wants to not believe that he actually died. The DoD has said they woul pay for the headstone in full, but she still won't get one. Why is she so disrespectful to her own son's memory?

In the United States we all grow up hearing that we're a Democracy ..but we are not.. we are a federal republic.. so if we on the whole don't have a handle on our own form of governance, how can have an opinion about something we don't understand ?

No drooling please... I am genuinely curious to see if anyone knows the difference?

He's going to get lonely. He's going to go to the bars and hang out with friends. He's very good looking and very funny and out-going. I know he loves me, but will his lonelyness get the best of him? I'll be gone for at least 4 months. I've been in the Air Force for over a year. We got married before I joined, and he moved to TX while I was at tech school to be with me. He's left his family and awsome job to be with me. I trust him, but there is still that thing in the back of my head saying I should worry. I know he'll be worried that I'll cheat on him while away from him because I'm very attractive too. I wont because I love him, so why do I still worry. It's the same thing with him?

Are there any military folks out there who has an oppinion or been through deployments from either the dependent side or military side?

Before you claim, "PREPOSTEROUS !"; read the following irrefutable evidence.

1. We now have access to recorded eye witness accounts, from people inside of the building, reporting explosions taking place.

2. Photographs of the buildings, just before it went down, show molten metal flowing out, from the building.

3. A chemical analysis of the molten metal, found at the site, show traces of a chemical called, "Thermate". Thermate charges are used by professional demolition crews, to cut through steel beams, to demolish buildings. Incidentally, the samples were recovered by a member, of the clean up crew, who kept it as a souvenir memento. Most of the scrap metal, including the pools of molten steel, were recovered by a demolition crew, and illegally destroyed. http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2006/06/341238.shtml

4. Thermate traces have also been found, inside the bodies, of firefighters and clean up crew, who were exposed to the gases, from the molten debris.

Why support a guy who won BOTH elections illegally. The first election was obvious, but too taboo to tackle. Gore won under EVERY single circumstance! http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1283246/posts

And the second was stolen just as badly. Kenneth Blackwell was awarded for making it possible. And it goes way deeper than the Rolling Stones article. He was taught by Katherine Harris (responsible for 2000 election fraud).
