How come every time I say I am against ILLEGAL immigration and think it's a crime I get called an ignorant racist? What part of wanting our laws enforced has to deal with ignorance or racism? Also, doesn't that make the person calling me a that racist and ignorant themselves for just ASSUMING that I'm referring to Mexicans? After all, I could be talking about Canadians.

Has anyone out there just about had enough of these idiots running the country? I don't think they have a clue as to what's going on, especially Homeland Security, as witness to what has happened this past week.
I seems as though they don't have any kind of plan....it just gets made up as we go along.

OK, here is where I stand: I do believe the terrorist threat is real, unfortunately very real, and I am not a proponent of government conspiracy (probable but unlikely), but don’t you think that uncovering the recent terrorist threat came at a very convenient time for Bush/Blair administrations?

What puzzled me most was when I talked to a friend of mine who flew from Moscow around 2 months ago that when she was leaving from a Moscow airport there already was a ban on all liquids/lotions/gels in carry-on. Not yesterday, not last week, but 2 months ago! In Moscow! And trust me on this one - Russia is not the most advanced country in the matters of airport security. So, how did it happen that even the Russian bears had more info on what was going on the day before yesterday than what came as a surprise to most of us yesterday?

Or was it because it was a known (thought through unofficial channels) fact for the airport security but was kept as an ace for the administrations to use when they felt it was the most advantageous?

And I repeat, this comes from a very skeptical person who does not give it to the conspiracy theories easily…

What do you think? Only serious answers from BOTH sides, please.

The U.S. can pride itself on its ethnic diversity and its freedoms to all her citizens but is this the root of most of our problems? Is it possible to have too many freedoms? Should we start turning people back even though this is what makes our country so great and is what our forefathers wanted? Or is it time to change the rules a bit and say enough is enough, time to start caring for the people already here instead of the people who want to come here? People in this country are getting rich off the atrocities commited by terrorists and more people than we can count are being born into poverty and oppression by racists and criminals.What do you think? We have seen in our own country that religious differences can continue for centuries. Similar events have been occurring in the Balkans and the Middle East for even longer. The problems of the latter two areas have now been imported to the UK by foolish, unthinking and ignorant politicians. They are not going to disappear by waving some magic Blair wand. Does he not realise that? Britons for many decades will now be living in the shadow of death and destruction. To compound it upwards of a million Eastern Europeans, many of whom are of Third World standard, gypsies, criminals etc, will be pouring into the country in 2007. God help us!

The voting system we have is a JOKE! It will always come down to two people for president and that is not fair to the American people. Political parties are keeping this country from greatness by not allowing real people into office. We are forced into getting politicans who don't even know what it is like to really make a living in this country as most have had everything handed down to them. The media and political parties are in cahoots and that is what they want. They do not want someone who thinks outside the box to become President as that would ruin a lot of careers as many politicans would be exposed for the corrupt, greedy people they are. Of course, not all politicans are bad but the good ones get overshadowed by the rich, simple minded ones that only have the parties best interests in mind. Even the good ones are slaves to whichever party or business sponsored them. We need to start voting real people into office or things will never change for the better. Anyone agree?

I think China will try to get as close to Russia as they can coz they need energy, weapons. Russia has huge reserves of oil and it has recently signed a gas deal with china. USA does't want china to get F-16s or other Advanced Weapons and it will not give in future as well. So there is no option but to get it from Russia.
So we will see a heated up security council....when USA will ask Russia to stop supplying weapons to China....here India will come in(20 years ahead when india will 5 times stronger then it is today)
USA will try to gather support from India ... India will ask USA to give a permanent Security council seat in return.

Further.. Japan will be crying out loud about korea's missile testing so we can see a war with korea in next 15-20 years.

Now looking at the situation USA will give missile defence technology to Britain, Japan, India.. and Pakistan will crumble like U.S.S.R in the future.. or India will nuke pakistan. Interesting ?
