What good is a parent who?

goes out of their way protecting other's people children but doesn't protect their own and would rather see them split up?

Bush wants to secure Iraq's borders and drop ours. Was he really our best choice for pointman with the war against terrorism?

What happens if you are caught by a speed camera?

A relative has just received a letter from the police saying that he was doing 47mph in a 40mph limit - what penalty will he receive? When he got home he immediately opened the letter and is absolutely gutted and so I don't like to ask what points and/or fine he gets.

He doesn't remember what speed he was doing so can't really dispute the speeding charge. Also, I think it must have been a temporary camera as I've never seen a fixed camera on that stretch of road but the mobile speed camera vans are regular visiters (although usually well hidden).

This is a hypothetical question about the China, Taiwan, Koreas, & the Asian peninsula there.?

When China does take back Taiwan, does anyone think this will create a domino effect in the Asian peninsula there? How likely is this of happening soon? Will N. Korea get invovled which will invovle S. Korea & Japan. Also would if the US tried to invade N. Korea, would China come to it's aid?

The World Health Organization estimates that one-third of the world is well-fed, one-third is under-fed one-third is starving- Since you've entered this site at least 200 people have died of starvation. Over 4 million will die this year.

The Indian subcontinent has nearly half the world's hungry people. Africa and the rest of Asia together have approximately 40%, and the remaining hungry people are found in Latin America and other parts of the world. Hunger in Global Economy

Nearly one in four people, 1.3 billion - a majority of humanity - live on less than $1 per day, while the world's 358 billionaires have assets exceeding the combined annual incomes of countries with 45 percent of the world's people. UNICEF

3 billion people in the world today struggle to survive on US$2/day.

In 1994 the Urban Institute in Washington DC estimated that one out of 6 elderly people in the U.S. has an inadequate diet.

In the U.S. hunger and race are related. In 1991 46% of African-American children were chronically hungry, and 40% of Latino children were chronically hungry compared to 16% of white children.

The infant mortality rate is closely linked to inadequate nutrition among pregnant women. The U.S. ranks 23rd among industrial nations in infant mortality. African-American infants die at nearly twice the rate of white infants.

One out of every eight children under the age of twelve in the U.S. goes to bed hungry every night.

Half of all children under five years of age in South Asia and one third of those in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished.

In 1997 alone, the lives of at least 300,000 young children were saved by vitamin A supplementation programmes in developing countries.

About 183 million children weigh less than they should for their age

To satisfy the world's sanitation and food requirements would cost only US$13 billion- what the people of the United States and the European Union spend on perfume each year.

Huge levels of debt. Erosion of civil rights. Illegal immigration out of control. Education spending gutted. Gas prices at all time high. Terrorism fears. Thousands of soldiers dead and injured. Middle-east in turmoil. Relationships with other countries damaged. Tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians slaughtered.

Has he actually accomplished anything?

is it legal to put up a sign that says solicitors will be shot, and if the knock any way can I shoot them?

with a water gun? I don't own a real gun and i don't really want to kill them...

Also, if religous people show up, if I tell them Satan lives here or we worship the devil will they go away?

This is a serious question, They are harder to get rid of than any kind of bug.
