tell it to Saddam. I guess it would be a good thing but many people have never known that freedom and never will know that freedom. It's pretty sad.

Why is 18 the magic age? In some countries girls are married and having babies by 13 so shouldn't they be allowed to vote.
But also, in some countries democracy just won't work - like Iraq. The people have tribal and religious allegiances that run a lot deeper than any allegiance they have to the principals necessary for Democracy to work. They're better off with some other form of government.
The good news is that if they have a phone they can still vote on Survivor, American Idol, etc.

every country is differnt. You cant impose our western policies on the entire world. that is why we are at war now. To each its own. To be honset we are not even in a democracy. Its an illusion. They choose who they want through bloodlines. read some david icke books the truth will set you free
