Also, if religous people show up, if I tell them Satan lives here or we worship the devil will they go away?
This is a serious question, They are harder to get rid of than any kind of bug.

You can put up all the sign's you want but if you start
shooting people, even with a watergun, you are going to
find yourself in trouble with the law...

Wow. Well... I don't know whether to laugh or be deeply concerned. lol. Shooting someone with a water gun still is misdemeanor assault & battery, if the person "water shot" is place in fear by your actions. It does not matter if it is a real weapon.
As far as telling religious people that Satan lives there...does he? :) In the state of Michigan, all that is needed is a "no solicitation" sign that's visible. If the solicitors disregard such a sign, you can call the police/file a report/make a complaint to their organization/etc. In some limited circumstances, you may even be able to sue.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but that will probably get you charged with Criminal Violation.
I have a sign posted on the front of my house and at the front gate specifically saying "No Solititation, Religious or Other".
Although I am a Christian, I do not want these people knocking on my door all the time.

it reminds me of an old song that talkes about signs, signs, everywhere theres signs. Well to get to your question, it is not morally right for someone to put up a sign like that. I don't believe that people should kill people for stepping on a lawn, but if the person breaks in thats a different story. To me those people are uneducated and want to live in their boxes. As a christian, I value life and don't like to see people killed.

all you have to do is challenge everything the religious people say. They cant handle the pressure. I have dealt with this with the mormans. i put the pressure on them with questions and they couldnt handle it.
Tell them u worship the devil and roll ur eyes in the back of your head and talk in a deep rustic voice incoherently

happened to me so I just got a big hungry rottweiler, I am on thier "do not go near that house" list now. :) Just put a little $50 security camera in front of your house and dont answer the door.........and dont forget to let the dog out. lol

It should be legal to use a real gun, but it isn't.... a water gun is probably unlawful also.
Put up a sign, "no soliciting", "no sales", "no witnessing", "no religious services wanted", "get lost", "no trespassing".... etc.
Might have to post in Spanish and Spanglish also to get the job done.
