My dad fought in WW2 and passed away a few years ago. We were told he wasn't able to get a monoment because he already has a tombstone. I didn't question it till I went to visit his grave on Memorial Day and all the war veterans had flags on thier graves provided by the cemetary to honor the vets. He didn't have a flag because he didn't have a memorial plaque. I felt just horrible for him. My father was so proud to serve in the war and yet he wasnt reconized because there was nothing to let anyone know he was a vet. There were flags on more than 100 graves and my father had nothing. I left him flowers but he deserves to be reconized, he was so proud of his military days. Any help to get him a military plaque for his tombstone (what do I need..I have his dischage papers and everything) It is horrible that he fought for us and no one cares. He was a proud man and deserves some honor. Please help.

My husband made a Will and put in the Safe deposit box. He told me that the Will was signed in front of two "friends", and that I am not to open the Will until he dies. He said the "Will" is sealed. He said, when he dies, I am to go to the safe deposit box and get it and get his two friends before I can open the Will.

Does this make sense?

I am his second wife and he does have a child with me. He also has 6 kids from his previous marriage.

I want to know:
1) Can the Will only be open in front of a laywer?

2) Why do I need his friends to be present when I open the Will?

3) Will I get in trouble if I open the Will without the lawyer when my husband dies?

I live in New York.

When I run for president I plan on making big changes (hopefully the US will be better by then and I want have to change any thong) I plan on making the nation safer for children so that they’re parents don’t have to worry abut them being abducted and hurt. I plan on peacefully bring an end to all gang violence, but if they do want to be come peaceful and I will convince congress to allow me to have the military to go in and kill all gang member no questions asked. I plan on trying to fix all government program problems such as welfare, medic care and the like. I will fight for harder immigration laws and stronger land and sea borders.

If you have, any ides about what I should fix then tell me so I may think about them

Don't get me wrong I'm not racist or bigotted. I think its great to remember where you came from, but isn' t it divisive to our nation to always point out race? ie: Anglo-American, African-American,Native American etc . etc. I was born and raised in Canada but when I moved here and naturalized I became an American. To all the comments about how natives got their land taken. First Off I am Indian (native American) and I am proud. If you have paid attention in school then you would know that yes, British and French did come hear and take the land, but the natives joined forces with the French and British side after being defeated by them. we natives fought for our land and fought damn hard and we lost. We took our loss with honor and excepted the new ways (well most of us) You should watch "Last of the Dogmen" It tells about what really happened. there were plenty of white folks who joined the native culture as well. You say that British and French fought unjustly. They did not abide by the laws of war, neither side did. In fact the most brutal thing that the whites did was at the battle of wounded knee. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that what the whites did was right, but how they fought and won was perfectly fare because nothing was civilized back then.
