Which is worse?

I feel it was personal also. We have other people in office that things happes to. It is human. Sometimes we make the wrong di cisions, and have to pay the price for it. But if we do the work we are suppose to do,, and not let it effect it, then is personal. I think he did a good job balancing the budget etc. I really like him to this day. But I can't say that about all trhe presidents, some hurt us in different ways. There are different ways to express sex, I wish evewryone would leave him alone. He is a good person. Pem

First off.. he may have lied under oath, but who thinks it's fair that he was questioned under oath about his personal sex life? Just because he was in a position of power in the government does not mean that he is a perfect human being. This had no place in the public eye nor did it affect his abilty to run the country. How many other presidents have cheated on their wives? Plenty ...some you have heard about and some you have not. Personally I care nothing about whom he sleeps with , gets oral from or whatever to relieve his sexual tension as long as his public policy is on track and Bill Clinton's was on track !

I agree with coolbeanie27, the things that Bill got raked over the coals for were trivial and they showed the Arab and Muslim communities that doing things with a woman could topple a US President. Like that just told them that your government was a weakling! Women in the minds of terrorists are not major, get killed and you don't just get one virgin you get 6 dozen of them, yet it took one blow J,. from a Monica and down went the President! The only reason he lied was to protect the office of the presidency from the power hungry republicans who would do anything, I repeat anything to get him out of power. So he got ousted and look where the US is now, with a President who doesn't even drink beer! It was a personal thing, a trivial thing that happens outside of bars across the nation every night, but Bill does it in the oval office room and gets caught, maybe he should have gone down to the local streetcorner and picked up some hooker, then it would have been news, not big news but news, and even then not something that you hang your President out on the line for. For Osama has six wives and Bill only one, wasn't their any room for error?

it wasn't about having sex in the oval office or about lying under oath...it was about him actually trying to make life a little better for those who have been ignored by the government in the past...reps deny that tiny little part...

Nobody forgot that he lied under oath...about having sex. I'm a Clinton fan, but that did indeed piss me off.

But he lied about having sex, which is indeed a personal matter.
It's not like he lied about reasons for starting a war.

Getting what he had done in the white house did not cost tax payers anything. What cost tax payers was the prosecution of what was done in the oval office.

yep, tax payers bought that giant rug that in the Oval office. It was a shame it had to be discarded along with everything else in the house.

I see all kinds of answers to this one. A wrong decision, he just lied , it was personal, No it is not personal when you are the President of the USA. You are sworn to uphold the laws, not break them. It is a personal thing when he knew about bin laden but chose to ignore it. It was a personal thing when the truck of explosives was driven into the twin towers and he chose to ignore it. These are all personal things that Bush is trying to straighten up. Not for his daddy but for a former president that chose to ignore his country for a moments pleasure.
