Do you think the "mastermind" behind the Bush administration is George Bush or Dick Cheney? Is Bush Cheney's puppet and really as dumb as he seems, or is he really the mastermind by pretending to be dumb and therefore not having to take responsibility????

The United States has been pretty busy in the Middle East. Should we continue to walk over them and mess up their culture while look for terrorists, or should we just get out and stay out?

Isn't that contradictory since the Catholic church prohibits abortion, and the Democratic party promotes it as "pro choice"?

INSURGENTS TO HALT ATTACKS! Story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060628/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_060628170117;_ylt=A9G_RxpuEKNElB8ArgpX6GMA;_ylu=X3oDMTBiMW04NW9mBHNlYwMlJVRPUCUl

Let me be clear. I was in the military 6yrs in Europe & Mid-East. I wholeheartedly support our current mission of planting democracy in the geographic heart of the Muslim world. I know, AFTER we leave, it will prosper & spread to neighboring populations in Iran, Syria, Saudi, Egypt, Yemen, etc. And that with reform, democracy, & modern education (in 10-20yrs) there will be no one willing to listen to the cult of evil which is extremist militant Islam (read bin Laden if you like). We've never wanted a war in Iraq against the Sunni insurgents, just al Qaeda.

Short & sweet, would you accept terms from Sunni insurgents to pull out all troops in two years CONDITIONAL on their support to destroy al Qaeda & spin up Iraqi defense forces & democratic govt?

I read a news article involving the immigration, and it sounds like people forgot that almost everyone in America is an immigrant. Does this not irritate you?

To me Nader is just a liberal under a different name.
Most independants though, would like to slash programs for the poor like Republicans and yet adhere to extremist liberal philosophy like supporting partial birth abortion.
Why can't we have a candidate that looks out for the little guy, but isn't trying to take God out of every thing?
Why do we always have to choose between tax payer funded abortions or tax cuts for the rich.

I think it is because of money and the special interests. However, without special interests the "little man" doesn 't have that voice.

It seems we are always stuck with choosing the lesser of two evils.

Does anyone else feel this way?

My ex-husband, whom I havent seen in close to seven years, owes me almost $30,000 in back child support and no one can seem to find him. He used to live in Kansas, but has bounced around for years. I moved from Kansas to Colorado years ago, but did try to stay in contact, however that became impossible after he was incarcerated. My daughter has since been adopted so the state of Kansas no longer considers it a priority to collect on the back pay that I am legally entitled to up until the day she was adopted. Basically they told me that I have to locate where he lives and his place of employment on my own and once I do, let them know. To be blunt Kansas never really pursued it much before she was adopted either. That's how come he owes me so much money in the first place.

Ok I just have to share this.. hehe

I answered a question about what we would do if it was proved aliens were among us. Here is my answer:

{Republicans would immediately impose some sort of tax on them, require photo ids and require citizenship fees to be paid making sure to get some money. hehe

Democrats would have a big "Welcome To Planet Earth" party where we all got drunk and celebrated more diversity. hehe

Oh yeah, and Congress would immediately begin debating whether or not their marriages/unions would be recognized.}

Who else thinks that answer is SO FREAKING FUNNY?

This should be a slam dunk. Do you think torture is acceptable? No. How do people stray from that? Do they not have an education? Are they following the example of their leaders? How? How is the percentage of people who think torture is okay not the same as the percentage of people who think the Earth is round?

Israeli gunboats circled the wounded 'Liberty,' firing at crewmen trying to fight the fires. At 1515, the crew were ordered to abandon ship. The Israeli warships closed and poured machine gun fire into the crowded life rafts, sinking two. As American sailors were being massacred in cold blood, a rescue mission by US Sixth Fleet carrier aircraft was mysteriously aborted on orders from the White House.

With all the talk about hating war, and bring the troops home, and Bush lied, and impeach Bush, and don't burn the flag, and illegal immigrants should be citizens, and raising minimum wage, and seperation of church and state, and political correctness, yadda yadda yadda, blah blah-freaking-blah.
Have we lost touch with what it truly means to be free?
Have we lost appreciation for the freedoms that our forefathers died for?
Have we lost the concept of what freedom costs and it's worth?
Do we not realize just how free we are?

I know there are those out there that do, i'm not saying everyone has. But sometimes when I hear what some people consider important and why... it makes me wonder.

"You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man's freedom. You can only be free if I am free."
- Clarence Darrow

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
- Bemjamin Franklin
