I thought 9/11 was what pissed him off and made him decide to go after "weapons of mass destruction"in Iraq.Do you people realize that Sadam hated Bin Laden?Sadam wanted to kill Bin Laden himself at one time but Georgie senior said no no.I can't believe anyone was dumb enough to vote for either of them.

there was a case a few weeks ago about a serial peadophile in the uk who got 7 years (victims as young as 3 years old) and could make parole in 5! i think this is sick, do you think life should mean life?

I am going to answer my own question and then ask the learned among you to tell me why I am wrong. I think there is an amazing similarity. The Islamic extremists do not think for themselves. They are only able to parrot the words and ideology of their teachers and trainers.

Haven't we reached that point in this country? The liberals and conservatives, I believe, are equally guilty of abolishing all efforts to engage in thinking for themselves and are content to just parrot the words of their chosen leaders. They do not question, they just grab the sound bite of the day and argue it with unction to all who fall victim to them by being in the same area. I think our elected leaders are OK with this because it allows them to stir the pot and then go do what they want, sans accountability. They know that we will be too involved in spouting the party line du jour than checking where they are spending the next few billion dollars in PORK!

hypothetically we could easily win a war with china with all the amazing explosives and nukes and other things that could go boom in our aresenal. But lets take that out of the picture. Nothing that explodes bigger than 25 square feet is "allowed" with our highly trained marines and tactics could we win the war with chinas massive army without the use of big bombs or flinging hundreds of thousands of men at them (d-day anyone?)

we would also have to worry about guerrilla warfare with local civilians and what not which could easily turn into another vietnam or Iraq war
