I have three male gunea pigs, one is fixed. When ever I bring them food they get really happy, but when I try to pet them/play with them, or get to close to them, they run to the otherside of the cage. I don't know if this changes anything, but, they have a huge cage that is about 3 1/2 to 4 ft long and about 5 wide (it's in my basement) and they love it. I also had to seperate one of the males because he would hurt another one of my gunea pigs, so the one that is atacking the others i sperated into about a third of the cage (their is a wall inbetween) I have also had them for almost a year now, they are still afraid of me. And it is just not me, it is everyone in my family too!

Does anyone have any ideas to help them trust me, or anything I am doing wrong that I should fix???? I really want to be able to pet them without watching them run away.

I've got 3 and they're so happy and loving! I think they're wonderful pets as they never bite but they a lot more aware of their surroundings than hamsters or mice.

We live in a resort area where family/friends want to come visit so they can ski etc.... We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and I can't believe how many people ask if they can bring their dogs with them. Is this me or is this rude? Like if my 3 pets isn't enough as is without my pets getting upset with a strange pet staying.

I need a saddle that is extremely comfortable, but a reasonable price. I am considering these two, but I would appreciate it if you give me some suggestions. I feel like mine are always there for me, however I feel. If i want to be alone then there is no pet around...if i need company then one always steps up and is sitting right next to me waiting to play or be pet...its like they can sense my feelings and are always there for me even if no human in the world can care less...

A squirrel buries his Winter food, usually pecans, in the Fall.
It seems like they bury them randomly.
How do they find where they buried them ? ? ?

when I lunge my horse-who lunges easily to voice cues-everytime I sat "whoa" and he stops he faces into me and walks towards me. I can just say "other way" and he goes off in the other direction easily,but I am questioning the walking towards me after we have stopped lunging-is that a bad thing?

I get angry at pet owners who have seriously ill pet and don't know when to take them to the vet. like my dog ate rat poison 3 days ago, what should i do? My cat got hit by a car, but is he ok? This really bugs me. Anyone else??
