in your experience, what environment does your horse/s do better in...a lush, green pastural environment, or out in the scrub with not much rain?

The lush green pastures can cause founder very quickly. Pasture managemetn is the key. If your pasture is lush, limit the pasture time. If your pasture is scrubby permit more pasture time. Exercise is good. Everything in moderation.

Horses are pretty adaptable. Health problems could occur in both types of environments. This may sound odd as we often picture horses in green, grassy environs but they are more likely to have health problems - grass founder - on very lush green pasture.
