my neighbour has two cats they are repeatedly pregnant she has litter after litter . my sister in law and i have both given her a number of a place where she cn get the cats spayed for nothing as she is on benifit. We both think it is cruel what she is doing these poor cats end up having kittens every 10 weeks as soon as a litter is born the cat is pregnant again straight away. Is there someone we can report her to.

Im really worried, i have almost no money, so buying a cage and extra stuff isnt possible, and nobody around here (ontario, california) seems like a good owner, people across the street are litterally insane, and except from our one neibor, who is too old for me to even expect him to care for a pet like this. hes a male rat, almost or over 2 years old, hes been fighting with his cagemate more than normal lately, both males. i picked up the older one, and noticed black marks and small lumps on his neck, i assume that they are scabs because the fur is kinda cleared araound it, like he was bit, i picked up his friend, and he doesnt have a scratch, and i always see them rolling around, and i try to break it up but they are too short for me to do anything without gloves (dont and cant be bit). when it happens, the younger one, by about half a year is being um, at the bottom of the tumble, i see the old one doing what looks like grooming on the young one alot, but never the other way araound

I want to find a way to report animal abuse that I witnessed in a local animal shelter and I would like it to be brought to the publics attention but our local newspaper will not help and please do not tell me to report it to the ASPCA OR PETA because I know aboout them but that will not help. So if anyone knows anyway to help with this please let me know.

okay heres the story
there was a ittle girl in my school bus who brought a small bat with her in a jar with only a few holes to breathe in (apparently)
all the kids where trying to shake the jar to make it wake up, and where tying to hit it with their books

anyway..when we got dropped of to school, i ran up to the girl and asked her if she was going to let it free after, she said no! and when asked what she would feed it, she just shrugged her shoulders!
anyway...while i had a free period,( and she was at a swimming competition...by luck) i snuck into her class(i didnt know which one it was...so i checked every place) and i "stole" the bat -

...but i dont know whats wrong with it :/ it wont really move - dont know if i should just leave it somewhere cus if its sick and doesnt fly one of the stray cats will eat it

if i leave chelique(her name) with other bats, will they look after her, or are they not really that sort of animals??

We have got a 2 yo buckskin that we have been working with to get some more weight on him and I know a lot of people on here have said that they use this for their horses and it works so we decided to give it a try, now the problem is we can't find it anywhere we went to the feed store where we get our feed and they looked at us like we were nuts. Where can we get this at?

We have recently brought our rabbit inside in the hope to make him toilet trained. However, we have noticed that he has a tendency to eat his own faeces (pellets). Is this normal? Or is there something wrong?

We have recently brought our pet rabbit (who has lived in a clean hutch and had no communication with other rabbits/animals) inside in the hope to make him a house rabbit. We are trying to toilet train him and his box is kept in the bathroom. Both myself and my boyfriend have been sick (vomiting/diaroheea/stomach cramps) and we were wondering whether we may have picked up something from our rabbit.

Does anyone know if there are any diseases that can be passed from rabbit to human? or where I can find more information about it?

Lets say your pet has fleas. You buy him or her a flea collar, and they go away on the animal. However, the fleas somehow decide they want to continue living in your home (somewhere not so close to where the animal resides). How do I get rid of them!?

Why is it everytime someone posts a question regarding a problem with their pet everyone answers by suggestion you take the animal to the vet? Obviously if that were an option the question would not be posted!! Why don't any vets answer questions so that the questioner isn't left with "going to the vet" their only option? Many times a vet will tell you stuff you already know and I don't believe I have to pay somewhere around $100 to hear it! Its like going to the doctor for a common cold. All they tell you is what you already know, suggest you purchase medication that only supresses the symptoms and say there isn't anything else they can do!! We need more professionals responding to these questions instead of the average layman who simply states, "go to the vet" and has nothing more to offer in terms of good, descent suggestions!

Granted, we've had this (dwarf) hamster for about a year and three months-and who knows how old it was while in the pet store (I do know that dwarf hamsters live for about 1.5 to 2 years), but she showed no signs of aging.
She's been running on her wheel for the past few days, all active and no slow-ness in movement-like normal. Then, the next day, when we go check up on her, she wasn't in her little house (where she normally is always), but rather tucked near a corner-dead, stiff, and non-responsive when coaxed ("touched").
Please, if anyone knows anything, it would mean a lot.-Thank you.
