I used to keep pigs. They are lovely animals, however very strong, cannot be kept singly as they are herd animals, are expensive to feed, will escape from the garden and ruin the lawn which becomes a mudbath in wet weather. If you are in the UK, you will need to apply to DEFRA for a special licence to be able to keep one and your home may have a covenant on it banning keeping livestock. For 2 minature pigs you will need 1/2 an acre of garden to keep them in.

The problem with pigs is they are terribly cute as piglets, but when they grow they keep on at it until they are quite an unwieldy size. Most people end up giving them away because they are too much to deal with. I know someone who had a pot-bellied Vietnamese pig which she thought would stay small. It didn't.

We have pet Kune Kune pigs, they are great as they keep the grass down and eat all the vegetable scraps! You do need a fair bit of space for pigs though, and of course a nice shelter. They do also poo alot, but other than that are easy to keep and nice pets!!
But you will come to understand where the phrase "greedy pig" comes from!! lol

I never owned one but have known people too. Pigs are very neat and intelligent. they will copy other animals in the home. Meaning if your dog barks to go out the pig will oink, or scratch the door. they only like mud because it helps them from getting sunburned.

There just like a dog. You can train them to do tricks and go outside to use the restroom or even litter train them. They do need a mub bath in the summer (They love them so much) They love to play! I think there super cute. I didnt own on but my boyfriend does and I love his pig. We call him piglet. He just like a dog only alot more fun I think. Oh they love to get into stuff. No mater what it is they put there noses right up in it so you have to watch them a bit.

Hello!
George Clooney has a pet pig and if it's good enough for George, it's good enough for Gabor. In addition, pigs are good with kids, and if you get fed up - you've got a years supply of free meat. Yippee.

I've had several pigs, they are good pets, Viet. pot belly is the best for indoor. Any ol'pig will do for outdoor. and if you get hungry...kidding!

Yes, they are intelligent animals, and the more you are with them, the more clever they got!
only that they can grow very big, depending the race .
So look a race depending the space they will have.
