We have got a 2 yo buckskin that we have been working with to get some more weight on him and I know a lot of people on here have said that they use this for their horses and it works so we decided to give it a try, now the problem is we can't find it anywhere we went to the feed store where we get our feed and they looked at us like we were nuts. Where can we get this at?

Do you have a Tractor Supply in your area? They usually carry it, and if they don't they can order it!

Also, you can feed this either wet or dry... we feed it dry with no problems.

And it DOES help with weight gain. Also makes your hay/forage 25% more digestible.

Here's an article for you from the Horse http://www.thehorse.com/ViewArticle.aspx?ID=314&kw=Feeding+Beet+Pulp

Good luck!!!!!

If you have a feed mill they should be able to get it.
Anywhere that sells horse feed should know about it. It is commonly used on horses.
You could also add fat to get additional calories with out getting a hot horse. You can use any type of vegetable oil or rice bran.
You can buy the rice bran at the feed store.
If you have a tractor supply or boomgars or country general they should carry it or be able to get it.
A feed mill would be better. They would be able to order ot for you.
