i recently lost my young pole cat ferret whilst taking her for a walk, she slid out of her harness and dissapeared in a hedge, (near lots of rabbit holes) i keep going back and calling her and walking all round for miles, is it true that ferrets will go for miles and miles and be happy killing rabbits? or is there a possibility she will find her way home?

It just blows my mind that people would even think twice about taking their animals to a vet when they are displaying obvious signs they are sick. If the person was sick, they'd get themselves to a doctor or the ER ASAFP.

She is a Pygmy, Piggy I call her if I leave her outside will she head south ,I don,'t want to keep 2 of them i couldn't cope with the constant calling and grunting.

There is a problem. there were rats around a house and they put out those packets with rat poison and the rats somehow dies somewhere and the smell is really strond inside the house. They took down two walls in the house where the smell was coming from but nothing there. Any suggestions as to what might bring the smell down or how to totally get rid of it?

My cousin had a 13 yr old Morgan. He passed away on Oct. 31, 2006 now she is looking for a new horse but don't know what to get . she want to barrel race like me but also wants to do saddle seat. and all around horse.

My sis and I took her bunny to the vet last week to be neutered. He was given a shot for pain that was to last 24 hours. He obviously is still in pain and the vet said that there was nothing they can do. I know there are anelgesics for rabbits but most vets fail to do this. I was wondering if there was anything on our end that we can do to help this little guy. We tried heat but he does not stay put and whoa, if you put ice on him look out. I was told we could give him 1/2 a baby aspirin or use some antibiotic ointment with some numbing stuff. I just wanted to hear what you had to say on the matter. I'll be lookin forward to your responses.

We just caught a small, maybe around 1 inch long mouse and 4 days ago we caught a probably 2 inch mouse and around 1 moth ago we caught one that was around 2 inches too! does anyone have any suggestions about what to do???i mean we already have 6 glue traps around the house, but my concern is there may be a mother breedung these mice.
