just please tell me you didnt buy him from a pet store....

ok yes its best you get a crate for the pup but not in your room.. keep the crate by the back door.. in the morning go quietly to the crate to let him out.. go out with him with a soft treat.. when the dog pees offer the treat instantly...then in to eat.. then out to play and poop (again you must go out and reward instantly)
the pup is really too young to be fully house trained but start now
if the pup cries in the crate you MUST ignore it... or it will learn to cry to get out everytime and wake you at night...
NEVER use the crate as a punisment

Neuter at 10 months.. a neutered pet is healthier and happier

Puppies love to sleep with their family so you may want to arrange your bed to be safe and comfortable for Elvis. My puppy and I share the same pillow. Be sure to take away the food and water early in the evening, and do a late night pee break. You should really enjoy little Elvis and he will be the King in your life. Best of luck to you!
