MY guinea pig just died ten minuted ago... and to me it was very unexpected even though he has been having problems for the past three days. Three days ago he stopped eating. My mom took him to the vet on that day and they pulled something that was stuck on his teeth. We thought that was the solution to the probelm, but Frederick still would not eat. The next day we took him to the vet and got x-rays . They said his cecum sack was much larger than it is supposed to be, so they gave him a shot to help his digestive system move (he also was not pooping) and a recipe for a "soup that I can feed him" Today Frederick was very relaxed... I also knew he was going to die... but I didn't want to tell my mom because she is very attached to him. Well anyway, today when my mom was gone Frederick started wheezing and twitching really badly. Five minutes later he died. What I want to know is to have some idea of what happened to Frederick. Do all guinea pigs die like this? Everything I thought that

I was wondering who has older horses, as in 35 years or older. I have a horse named Blaze who is spoiled rotten and he is very well cared for. I just wanted to ask if anyone else had horses like him.

A few years back, I'd seen a guy with a backpack on, and on top of that was a full-grown racoon. I thought it was too cool.
There's a family of them that prowl around my backyard. Now, I'm not thinking about capturing a baby, then raising it.
I was wondering if anyone knew if someone raises them to sell as pets.

I had sunflowers on my patio. and I gave the seeds this squirrel since the birds weren't eating them, ( and now I just found out that my boyfriend has been feeding it peanuts) but now he just hangs around on the patio when my boyfriend goes outside the squirrel runs up to him and will get extremly close and run circles around him, is it being friendly, i'm afraid it will bite him? what dieases do squirrels have?

is it safe to let them come up to you?

If he is, I would love to know how to contact his owners, because I have a mare that would love to have a baby of his!!

We might be able to get a goat. how much milk does a goat make a day? Can you sell it to friends (I'm in California)? What does a goat need to eat and how much? How much space and attention does the goat need? How about keeping the milk clean? Is it easy to transport the goat to other people when we go on vacation? Does it get attached to people ,places or is it a loner?How long does it produce milk? how long is pregnancy of goat? Don't the little goats need the milk of the mom or is the milk produaction by demand? How is milk production of goats different to humans?

I am looking for ways to keep hamsters warm. My boyfriend and I have 2 and are in a basement bedroom and it's very cold down there. My boyfriends hands turn color when he's on the computer in his room where the hamsters are. There is a small ceramic heater in the room but not enough to really do much since there is dog that opens/closes the basement door (his food is down there). Can you tell me of any products, bought or home made, that are safe to use for hamsters or any other rodent to help keep them warm?? Thanks.
