Name him something different for sure. :) My brothers hedgehog's name is Sonic... I doubt that is concidered creative.
I recently lost a Sheltie, his name was Mick (after Mick Jagger from the Rolling stones.) My uncle named he puppy chihuahua Axel, after Axel Rose.
I live in South Louisiana, and so cajun names can be very common here. Beaux (Bow), Roux (Roo), Beignet (Ben-yeh), Boudin (Boo-dan), Gumbo, etc. I've always liked those names, but considering most are a type of food, you may not want to name you hedgehog that. Haha.
It is really difficult to think up names for someone else. What I do, is think of my interests. My favorite bands and movies and Such.

For example: I have a 5 month old Maltese I named Truvy, after the character from Steel Magnolias. I have a friend obsessed with Aerosmith - He named his two dogs Steve and Tyler. Another friend whos Yorkies name is Dreamboat Annie, from the Heart song.

hope that helped... some? haha. Good luck! Naming is the hardest part.

Well they squel a lot so why not Squeeky. Or they are certainly pokey, so why not the obvious Pokey. Good luck with your new pet, they are rather cute, but beware of those pokey spines.

i truthfully like the assumption of naming it Sonic, if it rather is a boy, and Amy, if it rather is a woman. After the hedgehogs from 'Sonic, the Hedgehog'. here is another innovations, too.......... -woman- Topaz Nutmeg (<3 this call) Treasure -boy- Jazz Tumbleweed i desire you detect a hedgehog you like and the ideal call for it. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
