i think that we had a couger just over the fence from our back yard. my dog was out also. my wife said it was making weird sounds that she has never heard before. she has seen coyote,wolf,fishers. it was not one of these it was at night and it had orange eyes when she shone the light on it. if she sould hear the sound of a couger it would help to find out for sure if it was a couger

Hi, My grey gelding has lumps under his tail.( the skin around the tail bone ) I have been told that white and grey horses are suseptible to cancer and this may be a form of it.

is there any treatment for this? Or anyother explanation as to what it could be.

It doesn't seem to bother him. and he is in good condition.

I am adopting a 24 yo mare. 14.3 hh morgan/QH. she swims, trails, rides western & eastern. how do i size a saddle? is western better? hubby is a large guy, 6ft 2, 260 lbs. will an 18" western work for him? I have never owned a horse so i am not sure what i will need right away. any suggestions?

My daughters and their friend found a tiny toad in the yard that has been injured. I think the little guys toes were cut off by the lawn mower maybe. At any rate it's missing some toes and it was bleeding. I put human antibiotic ointment on its injury. I have it in an old aquarium with fake flowers for cover, a small styrafoam cup with a door cut out for shelter, a little tiny water bowl, and rocks. I put a tiny cricket, a tiny slug, and a tiny earthworm in there too for food. Thus far the little guy hasn't eaten anything, but I'm not sure how often a toad eats. Any suggestions as to how to care for the little guy.

I buy loose guinea pig food from our local pet store and I store it in a plastic container at home. Well, for a couple of months now I notice that everytime I open it there are a bunch of moths that fly out. They look like the same type of moths that get into your food in the kitchen and lay eggs.

How do I get rid of these pests, or am I stuck to just buying prepackaged food?

i have these red smooth bumps on my leg and they are really close together. they look like mosquito bites but i haven't seen any mosquitos all year. plus they aren't ever that close together. my dog has fleas. so do you think the bumps are flea or mosquito bites.
