Most certainly. I have four of them, two silver mitts, one sable and one that started out as a DEW(dark eyed white).
The two silvers are getting darker, especially the youngest one, he's 6 months. The sable hasn't changed much at all, but the DEW was first turning Silver and now more and more white. So, yes they do, and it's not gender related.

It’s natural for ferrets to undergo changes in the spring and fall. In the spring ferrets can loose almost half their body weight. Their coats become thinner and often change color. In winter your fuzzy should gain back its weight and regain a thick winter coat. Its winter and spring coats may come in a different color each time. Some ferrets only have a slight color change but some ferrets drastically change color.

i have 2 ferrets, 1 girl 1 boy. they are 6. the boy looks exactly the same as he did when i first got him. the girl went from being dark gray/some black w/ white tips on her fur to being almost completley white now. So i think it's normal. Also she had a white stripe on her head and now her whole head is white!! Check with your vet, but i wouldn't wory about it. Just make sure that if she is losing fur to get her to the vets ASAP. It could be an early sign of adrenal disease.Hope this helps! email me if have any questions

They can definitely get lighter or darker when they shed for a season. And over time they can have a dramatic color change as well (over a few years). Both genders do it.
