I'm thinking of changing my dogs food.

What would be some good high quality foods to check out?

and are there any cheaper then Science Diet?

My 6 month puppy is on the Science Diet large breed food right now but i've heard Science Diet isnt all that great and its just overpriced for what goes in it...

I have a 10 gallon fish tank with 3 fish in them that are in the goldfish family. I just did a 100% water change yesterday and already i see sings that the water is getting cloudy. Can someone help? Are there any products that can help keep the water clear? Is my tank to small for my growing fish, they're not that big!

I was vacuuming around my hamsters cage, trying to clean up all the bedding and shavings that had fallen out the cage, and I didn't realize that the door was open, and he came up and it sucked him inside. It's one of those vacuums with the tubes that come out, and you can take the end part off. So he's sucked inside ... what do I do?

our tft is a big-time daddy's boy and gets jealous of him pretty easily. he is realitively dominant, but never aggresive - he tries to bully you at first but he never gets physical. he never bites, but he growls at dogs he is unaccustomed to. We have introduced him to some dogs at which at first he growls, but after a while he doesn't mind them. The chihuahua wasn't abused and is very affectionate i'm told. do you think this would be a good match? Do you think if i introduce the two dogs in the right way that they would get along? Any advice would be great!
In case you don't know what a Toy Fox Terrier is it's like a slightly larger chihuahua. he's about 13 lbs (he's on a diet though, he's supposed to weigh 10 lbs) and the chihuahua is 7 or 8 lbs. Thanks!!!

my daugher has a new lab pup for christmas from her boyfriend and the poor little thing has been the vets and they said she had worms the vet gave her paste to give her and its worked but im worried we could get infected somehow can anyone help please as i have a small granddaughter to. i do try and make sure she washes her hands everytime she plays with the pup but i carnt watch her all the time thanks

My rabbits keep chewing the edges of the carpet and scratching it, ripping you, things like that. I give them toys, snacks, all that stuff for their cages but they both still misbehave. Is there anything I can put on the carpets that will make them stop doing what they're doing?!

I have a 5 year old long haired mancoon/siamese mix female cat. She has been fixed and declawed (thank God!). She is very sweet and loving, purring, playful and wants you to hold her and pet her - one second, and biting you the next. There is no predicting when she will snap. The other night she was laying on me and got REALLY mad when i moved her (hissing, growling, swatting, etc). In general she is a very loving cat most of the time, she just gets pms or something without any warning. Does anyone else have similar problems with their cat? Do you know why they do this?

We just lost our female Siberian Husky, who tolerated our chihuaha but still did not get along with her either. Neiko our male SH, is now very protective of his toys, food, etc., so when Naunee (C) goes outside, she barks at him and they don't play, they just kind of avoid each other. How can I get them to get along???

It is a pale whitish color, but not as runny as you would think. At first I thought she was throwing up, but then I noticed she has some stuck to her bum. I have been feeding her Whiskas, some kind of chicken and gravy mix, as well as hard kibble for kittens. Could it be her food? Thanks!

The pups are half siberian huskie/half who knows... they look like siberians but without blue eyes...I have a boy and a girl who look almost idenical besides the boy has white tip on tail and the girl has black tip.. The boy is into everything and can't be still unless hes asleep...The girl is still quiet and shy...I want names that go together, but tell thier personality too. Need Help

its a boy and this has happend twice
he will i guess pee or something and blood will be all over his wiener
and there are little soft gobs all over around him but i dont want to go to a vet because theyll charge 500 dollars just to look at him but what is the proble with him is there anything i can do to fix this?

I adopted a Shiba Inu puppy earlier this month from a shelter and after bringing her home I noticed that she had Kennel cough symptoms, so I brought her to the vet and she tested positive. So of course they prescribed her the usual Clamivox and Baytril. Then about two weeks later I noticed that she bagan limping and that her front paw (which she was limping on) was red and became discolored, so again I brought her to the vet. They took cultures and said that she tested positive for fungus and they prescribed a topical and oral medication. Meanwhile she still has the "kennel cough", she seemed to react well to the antibiotics...at first. Now, for the past several days, I noticed her kennel cough symptoms getting worse...seriously worse. And I also noticed that she's been having mucus drip from her nose and from her eyes along with nasal secretions. Could this just be a REALLY bad kennel cough or canine distemper disease?

I got my kids a fish tank for Christmas. It is a 10 gal, with a male and a female, guppy. Also a single living neon fish. Well last night my kids came running in and said there is baby fish, sure enough six baby guppies. So what else should I do? I made an emergency run to petsmart to buy a nursery.(small net thing, that seperates fish) I put the babys in it, and now what.....? So they need special food? how many babies were there? how often does this happen? I was expecting babys, but not two days after i put them in there!!!! There is six living... will they all live? where can i read more...?

Hi, I just recently purchased a Jungle Carpet Python. She is a yearling. She is very aggressive. Every research page said they were nippy but I've been bitten more than 15 times already. I've had her for about three days already. She is a very good eater. Feeding on pinkies. She is like this when I take her out of cage.She has a nice tank filled with branches,driftwood,2 hiding places-one on ground and one in the air.When I take her out to hold her she is evereywhere.Anything that moves she strikes at it . My famiy is very scared of her. She is being handled for about 3 hours a day. Ineed help?????

My mom has allowed me to get a dog in june.i was thinking of planning ahead and can someone please tell me how to take care of the dog i am planning to get a small breed as i stay in a apartment. please tell me if there are any hidden cost to have a dog i can spend 100$ a month on it. i want a dog with little grooming. and he must be small. please reccomend me a dog.
