Hi Nick...your cat may have a lower urinary tract disorder/infection which requires a veterinary evaluation. Hematuria (blood in urine) is very serious and if your cat is having difficulty passing any urine when left untreated within 24-48 hours a cat could die as a result of the blockage. Consider another veterinary clinic as each charge a different rate. This truly is a medical emergency.

holy crap. That's not good, dude. Blood is always a bad sign. What would you do if you were peeing blood? If you can't afford/don't want to pay for your cat to be looked at by a vet, then you shouldn't have a cat!!

And a vet won't charge you $500 just to look at him. If so you're going to the wrong vet, take him to another one.

My advice is take him to a shelter or give him away to someone who will take better care of him.

This is a very serious thing! You will have to take the cat to the Vet! He needs help and now. You need to be responsible for your cats health! You shouldn't have a pet if you can afford Vet care.

A vet consult is around £15, which is what? around $30,
if you can't afford that, you shouldn't really have a pet as it's not fair on them. It could be a urinary infection, which is easily treatable with antibiotics, or a small tumour which is causing the bleeding. Either way there are no home remedies, he needs to see a vet asap.

Take your cat to the vet! It could be a very severe kidney infection or something worse. Most vets won't charge you over $40.00 just to look at your cat.

TAKE YOUR CAT TO THE VET!!!!!!

your cat is extremely sick and if you can;t take him to the vet he will die,,,it only costs around 30.00dollers to have a vet look and figure out what is killing him.with meds which they have at the office;it will be 7.00 for meds... I'm a single mom with 2 kids and a sick dog that's dieing,,with animals we must get them to the vet ;no matter what bills we have... if i can come up with vet money 'you can too..if not let the animal control get him ;so he can get well...time is not on your side...get to the vet today,,,,,, this is a serious illness and it won;t wait,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

go to a different vet that charges less and take him immediately!!! Not all vets charge that much just look in your phone book and call until you find one you can afford.

Please get the cat to a vet. It depends on you as its caregiver and for protection, and I'm sure you don't want it to suffer. I know vets can sometimes be expensive, but I don't think it will cost as much as you think for an exam. Good luck.

Take your cat to the vet , ASAP.You cant fix this yourself, something is wrong. If you cant affored to take care of a cat , you shouldn't have one. Take it to the vet , and they will find a way for you to pay it.
