I bought a GSD from a friend some weeks ago.
Though I have no problems communicating with the dog with in obedience matters...
The GSD can't stop barking around the clock, with or without people outside the house gate, it seems to be barking for no reasons, giving the family a handful of headaches.
And efforts to calm it down only makes it bark again after sometime.
is it too energetic?or is it just a bad traits which need some "treatment"?

I love boxers and i already have a female at 10weeks, i was wondering if it would be a good idea to get another boxer puppy as a friend for my current one or wait until she is properly trained. I just think they are amazing dogs.

I have a 10 week old female boxer. She has been really good since we got her, she hasnt cried for her mother or littermates at all, she sleeps downstairs in her bed with a puppy heatpad. She goes to the back door when she wants to go out but just lately she has been having a few accidents inside, i know this is understandable as she is young but i was wondering if it could be because it is cold and wet outside and she doesnt like it?
She is also very hyperactive, jumping up at everyone and on furniture, i dont know if its best to ignore it or firmly tell her NO!
She has a habit of chasing my feet and biting them, i dont know what to do????

My 6 year old lady has laid 5 and there's no signs of any more. I have read up a hell of a lot as I've been planning for this for ages. I know my male has been mating with her but I still don't know if it was the right time and these eggs are fertile. I've tried to flashlight on the eggs and I don't know if i'l looking at the right thing.. we've removed the male from the cage also as he's got a feather plucking obsession which I had checked for mites and it was due to him losing his last cage pal. I've done things to teach him not to pluck but its more of an obsession now. Just some pointers would be fab , thank you :)

My fiance bought a Ball Python last week (still a baby) and he fed him for the first time on Tue. In the middle of the night (wed.) we smelled something 'rotten'. It was until this morning (thurs) at 5 am that we saw him trying to regurgitate the mouse. My fiance had to help him b/c the mouse seemed to be stuck & he was breathing funny.
I THINK it was b/c he was slightly handled after feeding. The enclosure he feeds in wasnt suitable for him to be in for a long time (error as first time snake owners) so My fiance moved him back into his 'house'.
Not handling him & making sure the temperature is where it needs to be should prevent regurgitation. His house was moved the day after feeding to a warmer room in the house; so the temperature SHOULD have been fine. this morning (during regurgitation@ 5 am) the temperature was still@ 80 degrees, so i believe he regurgitated due to handling. My question: When should we offer him another mouse? & How long should we wait b4 handling hi

My two kittens are about 14 weeks old. We introduced them to collars last week and after a day of tantrums they're fine with them.

I want to harness and leash them so I can take them out into the garden safely (there are a lot of big, rough cats around, and careless drivers, etc) as they're itching to go out and explore, and one of them has found out that it's fun to run away and play 'It' with us!
What would be a good age to put harnesses on them? I know they're likely to hate the harness at first, but they'd soon get used to them when they learn that leash means going outside, so that aspect doesn't worry me.

There has been a small deer coming in to eat all summer. He is sick and sounds like he has pneumonia. His breathing has always been very labored, but it is worse than ever. I can hear his extremely raspy breathing from 50 feet away. Can I give him human antibiotics? Does anyone have any suggestions?

My ginger cat Baz, who is always, even at 11 years old, happy and bouncy. For 2 weeks now he has seemed very low in spirits. I've taken him to the vets, who said he was fit and healthy, but offered to give him "cat Valium". I don't wanted a drug dependant cat but what else can I do?

My English Bull terrier is crate trained and used to sleep really well and only bark unless she wanted to go out for the loo. Just recently she wants to be let out at the latest of 6am and doesn't even want to go to the toilet she wants to play. We put her out in the garden for toilet and then put her back in her crate and go back to bed. She is then quiet for about 15 min and starts barking really loud and it is continuous she doesn't even stop to draw breath. We have tried ignoring her and hoping for her to quieten down but it doesn't happen. Our neighbours are really good about it at the mo.
We are getting a little worried now because we are due to collect our new Bully puppy next month &don't want him getting too unsettled. I have had dogs my whole life and never experienced a dog so determind to destroy our sunday sleep in ha ha!
My boyfriend has never really had dogs and spoils her rotten he gives her so much attention she never leaves him alone. Could this be the problem?

Ok well i posted last night but I didn't get many clear answers.
I got my 5 1/5 week old Maltese puppy from a reputable breeder in Australia. I do not know much about the breed other than it has long haor when it grows up. I am a single 20 y/o living alone.
I need to know how much to feed her, how long I need to walk her, groom her, etc. I do not have a lot of time to do stuff because i am very sociable and hang with my friends A LOT!!! I have a crate, food, collar and leash for her. I keep her in my aprtment at day and leave her in the crate at night. i feed her 2 small meals a day (only had her 3 days) . Is this enough food? I cant groom her for long, because i have not got a lot of time, like i said, i hang with my friends a lot and love to PART-AY!

I need to know what is the easiest and best way 2 potty train her because i will absolutley REFUSE to clean her poo and wee becayse she cant be BOTHERED to hold it in.

How much do i need to walk her? Can I just do (CONTINUES)
